he CD trainer line – a produc t categor y litera lly
invented by Tascam – consists of three models:
CD-GT2 for guitarists, CD-BT2 for bassists, and CD-VT2
for other i nstrume nts or vocals. They are based o n a
CD player which can slow down the tempo of a track
without changing the pitch – allowing any artists,
musicians, students, and music teachers to practice,
learn an d teac h har monie s, fast passage s and complex
melodies from their favourite music.
The generation 2 of Tascam trainers features an
all-new, improved ultra-compact design, comprehensive LC display with graphical u ser inte rface, alb um
tit le/tr ack title indic ation by CD -Text, expan ded effec t
ban ks for user prese t, a c hromatic tuner, 3-oct aves
tone o scillator, and a cance lling func tion to re duce
the le vel of the origi nal instru ment in favour of t he
mus ician ’s own perf orman ce (the CD-BT2 has a Bass
Enhancement Effect instead).
