Congratulations on choosing of the exclusive “Microtimer” by TAG Heuer: the very first timing system precise to 1/1000th of a second that can be worn on the wrist.

Lap records of the most prestigious Formula 1 racing tracks reduced to the scale of an avant-garde ”timepiece”!

The ”Microtimer” measures moments to an accuracy of 1/1000th of a second. It is digital for optimum readability and practicality. Besides perfect time control, it incorporates functions never seen before on an instrument of this size!

This timepiece was born directly from the expertise acquired by the brand in the professional sports timing sector. It features traditional functions such as the time, chronograph, date, alarm and second time-zone, but also enables the wearer to continuously time a race on an F1 circuit by memorising each of the laps. The entire history of the competition and the best lap time can be perfectly reconstructed.

	Each TAG Heuer timepiece is created to satisfy the most rigorous require-	3
	ments. The materials we use make our watches exceptionally robust, even
	when used in the roughest conditions. Extreme care has been taken over their
	finish. Before it is launched, every new product must successfully pass more
	than 60 precision and quality tests. Your TAG Heuer has also been individually
	tested to guarantee its water-resistance and perfect working order.
	The international guarantee card of your TAG Heuer Microtimer is accepted
	by all TAG Heuer service centres present in more than 100 countries across
	the world. The international TAG Heuer guarantee is only valid if the serial
	number engraved on the watch case is clearly visible and if no part of the
	original watch caseback or original number has been erased, modified, replaced,
	falsified, or rendered illegible. If these conditions are not satisfied, all rights
	under the TAG Heuer international guarantee system are void.

Technical characteristics

Your TAG Heuer Microtimer is fitted with a high quality quartz movement that guarantees optimum reliability and exceptional precision. It has been specially designed for the timing of F1 races.

Your TAG Heuer Microtimer has the technical characteristics of an authentic sports watch:

–Water-resistant to 100 metres

Please note that the push-piece functions are not guaranteed under water

–Scratch-proof anti-reflective sapphire crystal

–Water-resistant rubber strap

	Like all quality timepieces, your TAG Heuer Microtimer needs to be carefully	5
	looked after. Compliance with a few basic recommendations will enable you
	to maintain its reliability and prolong its service life:
	Rinsing. You should rinse your Microtimer regularly with fresh water and
	soap; in particular, whenever it has been immersed in seawater.
	Condensation. Sudden temperature variations may cause condensation to
	appear below the crystal of your Microtimer. This mist will disappear on its
	own and does not affect the good working order of the timepiece. Should the
	condensation persist, please seek the advice of your TAG Heuer retailer.
	Water-resistance gaskets. In time, the water-resistance gaskets of your
	timepiece may deteriorate. We advise you to have the water-resistance of
	your timepiece checked once a year by your TAG Heuer watchmaker. They will
	change the gaskets if necessary.
	Rubber strap. Our straps are manufactured from genuine vulcanised rubber
	to give the wearer unrivalled comfort. Their finish has a unique smooth
	quality. Rubber is a water-resistant high tech material. It enables a precise
	design to be adopted with a perfect fit on the watchcase. Specific treatments
	(in particular anti-UV) of this material guarantee better resistance to ageing
	than leather.

Crystals. Certain crystals of our watches are treated with an anti-reflective coat to improve legibility. This extremely fine coating can become altered, because of shock or mishandling. Under normal use, this treatment will offer total satisfaction.

Battery. Your TAG Heuer is fitted with a lithium battery. Its life span varies from 2 to 3 years, depending on the intensity of use of the various functions (in particular, audible alarms and backlight). When the battery is reaching the end of its useful life, the two digits ”BT” located at the bottom right will flash. Your TAG Heuer retailer must change it as soon as possible.

This Microtimer features six different modes:

>	T1 mode:	Hour and main date
>	AL mode:	Alarm clock
>	F1 mode:	F1 timing

>BEST LPmode: Best lap (LP = LAP) - the wearer can consult

>	Ch mode:	the laps in memory
		Chronograph
>	T2 mode:	2nd time-zone

This Microtimer has 4 push buttons: fig. 1 7 A, B, C and D (fig. 1), whose functions

differ according to the chosen mode and the way the wearer presses on the push button.

Two types of pressure can be applied:

-Short pressure or

-Long pressure (> 2 seconds)
