1 SUUNTO LUMI IN BRIEF
Suunto Lumi combines an altimeter, barometer and an electronic compass into one sophisticated package. The wristop can also be used as a normal clock, stopwatch or calendar!
Suunto Lumi features the typical functions of our other wristop computers, but includes that little bit more to make it personal. We tightened the design so that the watch sits comfortably on the female wrist. And we added nifty features such as a day counter that we think you will appreciate.
Suunto Lumi versatility and style allows you to use it anywhere – from urban activities to outdoor adventures, during the day or while kicking back at night! You can be original and use it indoors as well – perhaps to navigate through a crowded department store! We hope that your new wristop computer will bring you as much fun and excitement as we experienced while developing it!
Suunto Lumi is the answer for all of us adventurous girls who want to enhance their playground experience!

2 SUUNTO LUMI HANDBOOKS
To take full advantage of all the clever functions within Suunto Lumi, you should read the handbooks. We have divided these into two parts:
Handbook 1: Quick Guide is just that – a brief overview of how to use your Suunto Lumi wristop. The Quick Guide explains how to navigate, the basic structure of the user interface with graphic presentations and how to get started. We recommend that you read it through and learn the basics of your Suunto Lumi before you continue exploring any features.
Handbook 2: User Guide provides a detailed look into Suunto Lumi features and how to use them. The User Guide takes you deeper into the functions of your wristop computer and provides usage examples.
Note that button names are displayed in brackets and menu items in bold. Your device also displays active menu items in brackets.
And just for reference:
the Quick Guide should take about 15 minutes to read = 1 cup of green tea
the User Guide should take around 30 minutes to study = 1 pot of green tea
Please take the time to review each feature and function. Once you get to know your Suunto Lumi wristop computer, you wont leave home without it!

Views
Each mode has a set of additional views that you access with the lower left [View] button. Views are presented in the lower part of the display. Views contain supplementary information within the selected mode, for example, viewing seconds in the TIME mode.

Some views are interactive. Suunto Lumi has three interactive views: stopwatch in the TIME mode, log recorder, and altitude difference measurer in the ALTI &
BARO mode. You can start, stop and restart interactive views with the upper
left [Start Stop]. To reset, press the upper right [Up] button until the view is cleared. Go to the TIME mode and and try them out!
