Sensit Task Chairs
ALL ADJUSTMENTS SHOULD BE MADE WHILST SEATED
Chair Height Adjustment. The overall height of the chair is adjusted by lifting the
lever located below the middle of the seat on the right-hand side. Lift your weight
o the chair allowing it to rise and release the lever at the desired height. To lower,
simply lift the lever.
Synchronised Recline Adjustment. The unique characteristic of the Sensit
Synchronized mechanism is it’s automatic tension adjustment to accommodate
dierent user weights. This makes Sensit ideally suited for use in free float (unlocked)
mode, encouraging regular movement and the associated health benefits this can
bring.
The back angle can be locked in any of 3 positions or left unlocked to follow your
movements. The synchronised recline of the seat and back is locked and unlocked
by lifting the lever located below the middle of the seat on the left-hand side. Please
be aware that there is a safety feature that requires you to lean gently into the chair
back before the lock will release.
Seat Depth Adjustment. If the chair is fitted with a seat slider, the seat depth can be
adjusted by lifting the lever located below the middle of the seat on the left-hand
side. Slide the seat forwards and backwards until the required position is achieved
and release the lever to lock the seat in place.
Back Height Adjustment. The back height is adjusted by pressing the button located
in the back-support bar whilst lifting the back up or down for correct positioning of
the lumbar curve. Release the button to lock the back at the desired height.
Arm Height and Width Adjustment. The arms have a button located on the outside
face of the upright support. Press this in, set the arm at the desired height and
release the button to lock. The arms adjust for width by unlocking the paddle at the
base of each arm, sliding the arm outwards and then lifting the paddle to lock in
position. this can bring. Located just below the back, right hand corner of the seat is
a push button air valve. Press this button with your weight o the chair and the air
cells will self-inflate. Press the button whilst seated and the cells will deflate. Adjust
the volume of air to suit personal preference.

Folding Adjustable Arms. If the chair is fitted with optional folding adjustable arms
these have a button located half way down the outside of the post to adjust the
height and a second button at the bottom to allow the arm to be rotated backwards,
out of the way.
Inflatable Lumbar Support. The inflatable lumbar support is adjusted using the hand
bulb hanging under the right-hand side of the seat. Squeeze the bulb to inflate and
press the button on the bulb to deflate.
Inflatable Seat Cell Adjustment. The Sensit Task chair’s unique seat construction
incorporates 2 air cells with an Air Bridge to allow controlled, side to side air flow for
constant support and to encourage frequent posture change and the health benefits
this can bring. Located just below the back, right hand corner of the seat is a push
button air valve. Press this button with your weight o the chair and the air cells
will self-inflate. Press the button whilst seated and the cells will deflate. Adjust the
volume of air to suit personal preference.
