larger motor frame, the torque and thermal capacity required by
the application should be determined as shown in the “Selection
Procedure” section. A larger motor may indicate a requirement
for greater thermal capacity than the brake is designed for. The
brake selection must be matched to the motor and application
requirements, before use of an adapter is considered.
