FEATURES

■The STAX SRM-717 Driver Unit is a newly designed Solid-State
model featuring DC amplifying circuitry. Dual FETS are used in first
stage amplification with rugged emitter followers that combine to
achieve superb reliability and extremely low impedance. Results are
a remarkable improvement in Earspeaker Driving Power.

■The SRM-717 has also been designed to produce a constantly stable
output voltage of more than 400V in all frequencies up 10kHz thus
ensuring compatibility with all new audio formats including DVD Au­dio and SACD.

■The renowned STAX attention to detail and build quality continues
with a non-magnetic chassis and the elimination of coupling capaci­tors throughout the circuit ensuring a sound as pure and natural as
the real thing.

■The STAX SRM-717 features a balanced input to fully utilize the
newly designed balanced amplifier circuitry. Fidelity is also enhanced
by the use of a precision quality 4-gang volume control.

■The STAX SRM-717 provides a bypass mode that enables "direct"
connection to preamplifiers, passive volume controls or integrated
amplifiers and receivers with "pre out" facilities.
