The State Power Vent water heaters feature
State developed the Power Vent to
go in easy and work hard. We designed
engineering to maximize efciency and deliver
up to a .70 Energy Factor (EF) that meets the
latest ENERGY STAR® qualications.

built it to vent using polypropylene, ABS,
CPVC and PVC with vent lengths up to
180 feet. And we located all serviceable
components within 90 degrees of the
front of the unit for easy access. Plus,
we included the durable components
and features you’d expect to nd in
every State water heater. Built tough,
but easy to install.
Easy-install features:
• A versatile Power Vent design with an exclusive 3-position
rotatable blower to adapt to limited space installations.
• Combined horizontal and vertical vent runs up to 125
equivalent feet with 3˝ diameter venting (180 equivalent feet
with 4˝ venting on high-input 50- and 75-gallon models).
• Factory-installed, CSA-certied and ASME-rated T&P relief
valve and a durable, tamper-resistant brass drain valve are
positioned to simplify service and installation.
Other outstanding features:
• All models meet ENERGY STAR® requirements and may also
qualify for local utility and rebate programs.
• PEXAN™ polymer dip tube optimizes inlet water pressure to minimize
cold water regions within the tank. The self-cleaning action also
reduces sediment accumulation on the bottom of the tank.
• Hot-surface ignitor is more robust and reliable than standing
pilot, and reduces energy consumption.
• Factory-installed built-in heat traps on the water inlet and
outlet reduce the amount of heat lost through piping.
• Environmentally-friendly 2-inch-thick foam insulation reduces
the amount of heat loss and maximizes efciency.
• Models available with 3/4˝ side connections for combination
(space heating) applications (side connections standard on
high-input 50 and 75-gallon models).
• All models are equipped with a protected ammable vapor (FV)
sensor that detects the presence of ammable vapors and
automatically disables the burner to prevent their ignition.
• Air intake snorkel elevates the combustion air inlet to prevent
ammable vapors from entering the sealed combustion chamber
and igniting.
• Eco-friendly Green Choice
by up to 33%.
• State-of-the-art electronic gas control ensures more precise
temperature control and features an LED indicator to provide
operation status and diagnostic information.
