Activate Your Phone
Charge the Battery
Your phone’s battery should have enough charge to
get started, but it’s a good idea to charge it fully
before you get going. Insert the USB into the jack
and plug the charger into an outlet.
Before turning on your phone:
If you purchased your phone at a Sprint
Store, it is probably activated and ready
to use.
If you received your phone in the mail, and
it is for a new Sprint account or a new
phone number, your phone is designed to
activate automatically when you irst turn
it on. You will see a Hands Free Activation
screen at startup. When it’s inished, tap
OK to continue. To conirm your activation,
make a phone call.
If you received your phone in the mail and
it is going to be activated on an existing
number (you’re swapping phones), go
to sprint.com/activate and follow the
instructions. When you have inished,
make a phone call to conirm
your activation.
If your phone is still not activated, visit
sprint.com/support for assistance. If you do not
have access to the Internet, call Sprint Customer
Service at 1-888-211-4727 from another phone.

Set Up Your Phone
Complete the Setup Screens
Press and hold the
Power/Lock Button
and then review the
TalkBack navigation
screen, or tap Next
to bypass.
The device’s setup screens will guide you through
the setup process. Follow the prompts to:
• Set up an Internet connection.
• Sign in to (or set up) a Google™ or email account.
• Protect your phone by setting a screen lock.
• Personalize your device.
• Accept the EULA or other agreements.
When setup is inished, you’ll see your device’s
Home screen.

Stylus Pen
Your LG G Stylo comes with a convenient stylus pen
that you can use to input commands and navigate
your phone. It also works well with popular writing
and drawing applications.
• To remove the stylus, slide it out from the top of
the phone.

Set Up an Email Account
1. From Home, tap > Email .
2. Follow the instructions to sign in to your
email account.
• Tap Manual setup to conigure your connection
settings manually (POP3, IMAP, or Exchange).
Follow the on-screen prompts and enter the
information speciic to your carrier.
Note: If you‘re not sure about your account, tap Next
after entering your email address and password. If
your phone can’t autoconigure your account, you’ll
then be asked to conigure it manually.
