Precautions
• This unit is designed for negative ground 12V
DC operation only.
• If your car is parked in direct sunlight and

Operate the car stereo.

Press the EQUALIZER ON button.
The indicators on the equalizer controls light up.

Select the speaker system to be equalized.
To equalize only the sound from front speakers F (front)
To equalize only the sound from rear speakers R (rear)
To equalize the sound from both front and rear speakers
If your system is 2-speaker system, set the EQ selector to FA.

Adjust the equalizer controls.
The sound will be compensated for.
To restore to the original sound characteristics
Press the EQUALIZER OFF button.
You can compare the equalized sound with the original one.
Note
The EO selector must be set to exactly at one of the
three positions upper (F), center (FR), lower (R);
otherwise equalizing effect cannot be obtained.

If no sound comes from the speakers of
2-speaker system
Check to see that the FAD (fader) control is set to the
center position.
For Better Sound Compensation
First set all controls at their center position, and then slide the control of the frequency band to
be compensated gradually upwards or downwards until you perceive an apparent improvement.
