Easy Connectivity

Cineza projectors can process all the video
signals you want! VHS, DVD, DTV and HDTV signals
can be displayed. VPLHS2 features direct Composite
and S-Video Inputs, while the VPLHS10 features
direct Composite, S-Video, Component and DVI
Inputs. Plus both units have an expansion capability
with the PJ Multi connector – allowing you to connect
up to 6* video sources at once for extremely
advanced connectivity!

Computer Signals

Although ‘Cineza’ is Sony’s Home Cinema range of
projectors, you can also connect a computer (up to
XGA resolution) with an optional cable, SICHS30 via
the PJ Multi input. You can surf the internet, play
computer games or make a presentation on the
big screen.

Clearly Better From Any Angle

This clever feature allows you to place the projector
off center, and square up the image at the touch of a
button. Your coffee table can be freed up for your
popcorn and drinks, and the projector can be placed
discreetly to one side. Side Shot 2 allows you to set
up the big screen experience in minutes with a
combination of both horizontal and vertical keystone
correction.

Flexibility

The Cineza range can be Ceiling Mounted for sim­ple, out of the way dedicated home cinema projec­tion with optional mounting brackets.

Optional conversion lenses are also available to suit
varying home environments.

Cineza™ Home Cinema Projectors. With breathtaking widescreen visuals
up to 6 metres* wide, you will feel like you’re at the movies!

Interface Unit

The optional interface unit (IFUHS1) allows you to connect all your video sources

(such as DVD, VCR, Set top box etc.,) to both your television and Home Cinema

Projector at one time. Just one cable is then connected between the interface

unit and the projector. No need for dedicated equipment for both devices, just

simply connect to the IFUHS1, and switch between the projector and TV at the

touch of a button without the fuss.

Memory Stick

Imagine sitting back and sharing your favourite digital photos and MPEG
movies on the big screen with family and friends. Well now you can!
The VPLHS10 comes equipped with a Memory Stick slot, so you can
playback JPEG digital photo’s and MPEG1* movies from your Sony
Cybershot or Handycam.

MPEG MOVIE HQ, MPEG MOVIE HQX, MPEG MOVIE CV).

3 Panel LCD – Superior
Performance

Cineza Projectors utilise state of
the art 3 Panel LCD technology,
whereby separate light paths of
red, green and blue are produced
simultaneously. This results in superior
colour saturation and more vivid stable image
reproduction, making it the perfect choice for
home cinema projection.
Sony uses Widescreen LCD Panels so your
home cinema display experience is perfect for
widescreen DVD playback and digital widescreen
broadcasts. Coupled with Sony’s advanced video
processing technologies, picture performance
is outstanding.

Cinema Black Mode

Both models feature ‘Cinema Black Mode’
which provides for elevated black level picture
performance. This is ideal for viewing film sources
and should be used according to ambient lighting
conditions for optimum results. The lamp is driven
at a lower wattage, whereby brightness is
reduced, while black levels are raised.
