1 CLIP indicator (red)
It lights up when output signals are distorted. In this case, the input level is too high. Lower the system GAIN by adjusting the ATTENUATOR control 2.
2 ATTENUATOR control
From “0” (maximum) to “29” (–29dB down) in 1dB step.
CHANNEL 1 (MONO) position: This control adjusts the level of channel 1 of this unit. When the unit is used at monaural operation by BTL, this control is to be used.

5 PROTECTION (protection circuit) indicator
(red)
It lights up while the protection circuit is operateing. It also serves as the MUTING indicator at POWER ON.
6 SIGNAL indicator
It lights up when signals are input to the amplifier. It does not lights when the ATTENUATOR control is turned counterclockwise to the end () or when the fader of the mixer is turned down.
CHANNEL 2 position: This control adjusts the input level of channel 2 of this unit. When the OPERATION switch is set to MONO, this control does not function as it is separated from the signal route.
3 Vents
There are vents of cooling fan in left and right sides. If these vents are covered, such troubles may happen that the cooling function does not work correctly and the OVERHEAT indicator lights up, or that the self restoration thermostat equipped with power trans starts to work and sounds will not able to be heard. Do not cover these vents.
4 OVER HEAT (overheat warning) indicator
(red)
It lights up when the temperature of the inside heat sink goes over the prearranged level. Remove the cause such that the speaker impedance is too low.
7 MONO (monaural) indicator (green)
It appears when the OPERATION switch on the rear panel is set to MONO.
8 POWER switch and pilot lamp (green)
By pressing the upper part, the power is turned on and the pilot lamp lights up. By pressing the lower part, the power is turned off.
Note
When the PROTECTION indicator lights up
In the cases as below, the protection circuit works and the PROTECTION indicator lights up to protect the speakers or the amplifier by cutting down the output power.
• When the connected speaker impedance is too low, or when the output terminals short-circuits.
• When the temperature of the inside heat sink goes over the prearranged level. (The OVERHEAT indicator will continue being lit.)
• When direct current flows into the OUTPUT terminals by a malfunction.
The PROTECTION of this unit is a self restoration type. If it does not restore immediately, set the POWER switch to OFF, remove the cause of trouble, then set the POWER switch to ON again.

4 OUTPUT terminals
Used to connect to speakers. Connect the + terminal of the speaker to the red terminal, and the – terminal of the speaker to the black terminal. In the case of monaural operation by bridged mono, connect the + terminal of the speaker to OUTPUT 1 red terminal, and the – terminal of the speaker to OUTPUT 2 red terminal.
5 Barrier strip inputs terminals
3P terminal is equipped on the upper side of the XLR connector. In the order from left, 1: GND 2: HOT 3: COLD, the same as the canon connector.
6 GROUND LIFT (earth line switch) switch
In a large scale system, ham noise may be heard due to a difference of GND potential generated between system racks. In this case, ham noise may be decreased by switching the GROUND LIFT switch to separate the signal earth and the body earth. In the case stated above, do not connect the GND Pin of the XLR cable to the number 1 pin.
7 Monitor remote terminal
D-SUB 15 pin connector (female) This terminal enables to monitor signals to be or not, to monitor the protection circuit condition, or to control muting function of this unit from the outside.
Pin arrangement
Before changing the position of this switch, set the POWER switch to OFF.

By pressing the POWER switch, lamp does not light up and there is no sound.
Although the pilot lamp is lighting, there is no sound. (SIGNAL lamp does not light up either.)
The sound cannot be heard from the speakers. (CLIP indicator, OVER HEAT indicator or PROTECTION indicator lights up.)
When using Bi-AMP, LF signal goes to HF.
In operation of 2CH, low frequencies disappear.
The sound is noisy.
