Precautions on Use

• Do not touch terminal A with your hand or any metal object.

• The “Memory Stick PRO Duo” has a groove on the side
(Illustration C) which lets you distinguish it from a general
“Memory Stick Duo” just by touch.

• Do not apply strong pressure to the memo area B when writing
onto it.

• Do not strike, bend, drop or wet the unit.

• Do not attempt to disassemble or convert the unit.

• Do not use or store the unit in the following locations:
– Where the range of operating conditions is exceeded.

Inside a closed car in summer or in strong sunshine/in direct
sunlight/near a heater, etc.

– Humid or corrosive locations.

• Carry or store the unit in the supplied storage case.

• You can insert the “Memory Stick PRO Duo” into the Memory
Stick Duo Adaptor to use with the standard size “Memory Stick
PRO” compatible devices.

Do not insert the Memory Stick Duo Adaptor into “Memory Stick
PRO” compatible products when no “Memory Stick PRO Duo” is
inserted into the Memory Stick Duo Adaptor. Doing so may
cause the device to malfunction.

•

Check the correct direction of insertion before use.

• Insert the “Memory Stick PRO Duo” as far as it will go into the
Memory Stick Duo Adaptor. The “Memory Stick PRO Duo” may
not operate properly if it is not fully inserted.

• Do not excessively press or bend the inserted end of the
“Memory Stick PRO Duo.”

Précautions d’emploi

• Ne pas toucher la borne A avec les doigts ou un objet
métallique.

• Le « Memory Stick PRO Duo » présente une fente sur le côté
(illustration C) qui le distingue du « Memory Stick Duo » au
simple toucher.

• Ne pas appuyer avec force sur la partie B lorsque vous écrivez
dessus.

• Ne pas cogner, plier, laisser tomber ou mouiller l’appareil.

• Ne pas essayer de démonter ni de modifier l’article.

• Ne pas utiliser ni ranger cet article aux endroits suivants:
– Hors de la plage de fonctionnement indiquée.

A l’intérieur d’une voiture fermée et garée au soleil en été ou
en plein soleil/près d’un appareil de chauffage, etc.

– Exposés à l’humidité ou à des gaz corrosifs.

Precauciones para la utilización

• No intente desmontar ni reformar la unidad.

• No utilice ni guarde la unidad en los lugares siguientes:
– Donde se sobrepasen los límites de las condiciones de

operación. Dentro de un automóvil cerrado en verano o a un
sol intenso/luz directa del sol/cerca de un aparato de
calefacción, etc.

– Lugares húmedos o con atmósfera corrosiva.

• Transporte o almacene la unidad en la caja de transporte
suministrada.

• Usted podrá insertar el “Memory Stick PRO Duo” en el
adaptador para el Memory Stick Duo a fin de utilizarlo con
dispositivos compatibles con “Memory Stick PRO”.

•

No inserte el adaptador para el Memory Stick Duo en los
dispositivos compatibles con “Memory Stick PRO” cuando no se
haya insertado el “Memory Stick PRO Duo” en el adaptador para
el Memory Stick Duo. De lo contrario, podría causar mal
funcionamiento en el dispositivo.

Compruebe la dirección correcta de inserción antes de la
utilización.
