Sony NC300D digital noise cancelling headphones |
|
|
The Sony® MDR-NC300D headphones use Sony’s groundbreaking digital noise canceling technology in a comfortable earbud design to produce incredible noise reduction and pristine quality audio. Sony’s exclusive digital signal processing technology reduces up to 98.4% of ambient noise (at 160Hz) from airplanes, trains, or at the office.
Noise canceling technology
Noise canceling headphones reduce ambient noise and provide a quieter environment to enhance audio entertainment. The headphones have a microphone inside each earpiece that works with electronic circuitry to reduce ambient sound by synthesizing with a sound in opposite phase produced by the noise canceling circuit.
Highest Quality Noise Canceling
Reduces up to 98.4% ambient noise (20 dB at 160 Hz) when noise canceling circuit is activated.¹
Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Automatically selects the optimal noise canceling mode based on intelligent analysis of environmental ambient noise.
16mm Driver Units
Drivers work with the digital sound enhancer to deliver wider frequency response and superb sound quality.
Convenient Operation
Easy-to-reach volume and built-in monitor function on the controller allows you to hear surrounding sound without taking off the headphones for in-flight announcements or conversation.

1.Total noise suppression ratio is approx. 20 dB (when the noise canceling function is on) and approx. 7 dB (when the noise canceling function is off). The total noise suppression ratio is the difference in noise energy when the Noise Canceling function is active and when not wearing the headphones. For further details about the total noise suppression ratio amount for each mode, refer to the Product Information booklet.
