1. Supplied Accessories
The supplied accessories of HKPF-103M are as follows.
. This section is described how to attach the board in PFV-
HD300. For how to attach it in models other than PFVHD300, refer to the manual supplied for each model.
. Insert the board in any blank slot of PFV-HD300.
Attach any board to the 14th slot, if the status out
function is used however.
Front panel
1. Loosen the four screws (with stopper) and detach the
front panel.
2. Unscrew the six screws and detach the board supports.
3. Insert the board along the board guide rail.

4. Insert the board in the slot as far as it will go and close
the two board levers in the directions of arrows 1.

5. Put the supplied label onto the board lever.
6. Attach the board supports.
7. Attach the front panel.

When detaching the board, pull out the board toward you while
pushing the two board levers in the directions of arrows 2.

1. Save the detached blank panel for later use.
2. Be sure to attach the IFB shield and their parts attached to both sides of the blank panel, since they are
the parts that use spurious emission.
3. In order to maintain the cooling effect for
PFV-HD300, do not leave the slot open. Be sure to
attach the blank panel to an empty slot.
The connector panel attachment methods are divided into
three types depending on the slot number.
<Type 1>For slot No. 1
<Type 2>For slot Nos. 2 to 6, 9 to 14
<Type 3>For slot Nos. 7 and 8
The attachment methods for each type are explained
below.
<Type 1>
1. Remove the five screws, and remove the IFB shield L,
IFB shield and blank panel.

panel to the unit using the five screws that are removed

This switch is changed the setting during self-diagnosis for
the board operation.To enter the test mode,select this switch
to the upper (ON) position and turn ON the power switch.

If the S703-2 switch is selected to the test mode and turn
ON the power switch, the software version is displayed on
the LED.

The LED display is indicated with a decimal point omission, for example, Version 1.2 is “12”.

The board of the HKPF series need to be attached in the 4th slot of PFV-HD50A or the 14th slot of PFV-HD300, to do the
status out function effectively.

S704, S705 : Format selective range setting switch
If the S703-3 switch is the lower side : AUTO, an automatic selectable format is set for each bit.
ON : That bit format is possible to automatic-select
OFF : That bit format is impossible to select
Factory setting : All of the selectable bits are ON

If a lot of selectable format is specified, the time required till lock becomes long on the format switch point.
We recommend setting the bit switches, that correspond to a format usually not in use, to OFF position.
When operating at mono-format, the S703-3 switch is set the upper (manual) position and select the format of your purpose
with the S702 switch. (Refer to the format selection table, next page)
S706-1, S706-2 : Status output selection switches
These switches select an error information as status output.
