SYMPTOM

No operation in the DVD mode. In somecases "C-81" appears on the display.

CAUSE

Q002 on the DVD board may be defective.

SOLUTION

Apply the following changes on the DVD Board.

Remove Q002 "2SA1213Y" (8-729-101-07).

Replace R011 "Chip 1k" (1-218-953-11)with "Chip 470 Ohm" (1-218-949-11).

Solder the lead wires of the new part "Housing (Q002) Assy" (X-4954-896-1) to the locationsshown.Be

careful not to touch any other pattern.
