特長

リア ルタ イムビデ オプロセッシングボードDMW-RT02は、XPRIHDTVSystemのオプショ
ン基板です。

XPRI本体に本基板をインストー ル すると、HDTV の映像信号に3Dトラン スフォーム や ペー

ジターン、リップ ル などのビ デ オエフェクトを付加することが可能になります。

基板の取り付け場所

本基板は、XPRI 本体後面にあるPCIスロット部に 取り付けます。

準備

基板の取り付け

ソフトウェアのインストール

本基板の取り付けは、必ずソニーのサービス担当者にご依頼ください。

ご注意

静電気により基板の電子部品が破損する場合がありますので、本基板を取り付ける技術者
以外のかたは、本基板に直接手を触れないでください。

本基板を動作させるためには、XPRIシリーズのVersion4.0 以降に付属のCD-ROMに収
録され ているデ バ イスドライバーのインストー ル が必要です。
詳細は、ソニーのサービス担当者にご相談ください 。

接続例

本基板のXPRI本体への取り付けに伴うシステム結線の変更はありません。

基板情報の見かた

HardwarePropertiesツールを使うと、本基板の状態（バージョンや自己診断結果）を知る

ことが で きます 。

何らか のトラブ ル が 発 生した場合、本基板を含むハードウェアの 状 態を調 べることによって、

より効率のよいサポートを受けることができます。

をご覧ください。

Hardware Properties

ツールを起動するには

以下のようにします。

1 XPRIEditingSoftwareを終了する。

ご注意

XPRIEditingSoftwareの実行中は、本ツールを起動することはできません。

2 [スタート] >[Programs]>[SonyDMW]>[HardwareProperties]を実行する。

HardwarePropertiesウィンドウが開きます（次ページ参照）。

情報をログファイルに書き込むには

[WriteLogfile]ボタンをクリックします。

ファイル 名 は自動的に

「西暦年月日時分hplog.txt」

となり、保存先は

「C:¥ProgramFiles¥Sony¥DMW¥HardwareProperties¥Log¥」

となります 。

例えば、西暦 2001 年 6月25日の午後4時30分に出力されたログファイルの保存先とファ
イル 名 は次のようになります。

C:¥ProgramFiles¥Sony¥DMW¥HardwareProperties¥Log¥200106251630hplog.txt

Hardware Properties

[Close]ボタン、または[閉じる]ボタンをクリックします。

Execute Test

ボタン

クリックすると、リファレ ン ス 信 号 の 設定を行う次のようなダイアログ が表示されます。

[SelectLockSource]部および[SelectSystemFrequency]部のチェックボックスを操 作し
てロックがかかると、[LockStatus]として[Locked]が表示され、その右側のボックスに青色
が表示されます。同時に、このダイアログ内の[ExecuteTest]ボタンが有効になり、ボタン

をクリックするとテストが開始されます。

診断結果はStatus表示エリアに表示されます。

「故障かな？」と思ったときは、ここで説明する内容について確認してください 。該当するこ

とがある場 合 は、ソニーのサービス担当 者にご連絡の上、説明に従って正しく対 処し てくだ
さい。

ご注意

Overview

Features

The DMW-RT02 Realtime Video Processing Board is an option board for

the XPRI HDTV System.

Installing this board in XPRI System enables a variety of video effects
such as 3D transformation, page turn and ripple to be applied to HDTV
video signals.

Software Installation

This board should always be installed by a Sony service representative.

Note

The electronic parts on this board can be damaged by static electricity.
This board should never be handled directly by anyone except the service
representative who installs it.

To operate this board, a device driver from the application software CD­ROM supplied with Version 4.0 or later of the XPRI Series must be
installed.

For details, consult your Sony service representative.

Connections

Installing this board in the XPRI System involves no system connection
changes.

For sample system connections, refer to the XPRI Series Installation Manual.

Maintenance

Board Information

You can use the Hardware Property tool to check the state of this board
(version and self-diagnostics results).

If you should encounter trouble with the system, checking the state of this
board and the other hardware in the system will facilitate efficient delivery
of support.

For more information about interpreting information about hardware other than
this board, refer to the XPRI Series Installation Manual.

Starting the Hardware Properties Tool

Proceed as follows to start the Hardware Properties tool.

1 Exit the XPRI Editing Software.

Note

This tool cannot be started while the XPRI Editing Software is
running.

2 Select [Start] > [Programs] > [Sony DMW] > [Hardware Properties].

The Hardware Properties window opens (see the next page).

Saving the displayed information in a log file

Click the [Write Logfile] button to save the displayed information in a log

file.

The file name is set automatically [the calendar year + the date + the time

+ hplog.txt]. It is saved in [C:/Program Files/Sony/DMW/

HardwareProperties/Log/].

For example, if you save a log file at 4:30 p.m. on June 25, 2001, the

following file is created.

C:/Program Files/Sony/DMW/HardwareProperties/Log/
200106251630hplog.txt

Exiting the Hardware Properties tool

Click the [Close] button or the [×] button in the upper right corner of the

window to exit the Hardware Properties tool.

Results of self-diagnostics

Execute Test button

Displays the following dialog for selection of reference signals.

[Locked] appears in [Lock Status] and the color of the box to the right of

[Lock Status] changes to blue if the status changes to locked as a result of

checking boxes in the [Select Lock Source] and [Select System Frequency]

sections. At the same time, the [Execute Test] button is enabled. The test

starts when you click the button.

Troubleshooting

If you think the system may be faulty, check the explanation in this
section. Contact a Sony service representative and take the indicated steps
if you find a description of the problem.

Note

Before contacting a Sony service representative, make a note of the error
code (3001 and so on) that appears at the beginning of an error message, or
of the error message itself if no error code appears. The service
representative will need this information to identify the problem.
