Using the headphones (D-EG7 only)

Put your ear between the neckband and earpad.
Using the carry strap (D-EG3 and D-EG7)
You can enjoy various attaching options using 4 attaching parts on the CD player.
Using the hand strap (D-EG5 and D-EG5CK)
Attach the hand strap to one of the attaching parts on the CD player. For the ways to attach or detach, see “Using the carry strap” below.

Attach the carry strap by sliding the knob.

Playing a CD
You can also use rechargeable batteries, dry batteries and a car battery as a power source.

. Connect your CD player.

About the display
• When you press u from stop mode (when RESUME is set to “OFF”), the total number of
tracks in the CD appears for about two seconds.
• During play, the track number appears.
• During pause, the indications that appeared when you paused the CD player flash.
If the volume level does not increase
Is AVLS set to “LIMIT”? Set AVLS to “NORM.” For details, see “Protecting your hearing (AVLS).”
Removing the CD
Remove the CD while pressing the pivot in the center of the tray.

You can enjoy various ways of playback using PLAY MODE and REPEAT/ENTER.
