Turn the PVC shaft fully counterclokwise.

Place the pointer in the chassis groove.

Line up the tip of the pointer with the notch in the chassis.
(Fig-1)

Attach so that the knob (Tune) is at the position shown in
Fig-2.

Fasten the knob (tune) to the PVC shaft with the screw.

ADJUSTMENT

3-1. MECHANICAL ADJUSTMENTS

PRECAUTION
1.Clean the following parts with a denatured-alcohol-moistened swab :
record/playback head pinch roller erase head rubber belts capstan
2.Demagnetize the record/playback head with a head demagnetizer. (Do not bring the head demagnetizer close to the erase head.)
3. The adjustments should be performed with the rated power supply voltage (9V) unless otherwise noted.
