1 Important Safeguards
ŸRead all instructions. ŸDo not touch hot surfaces;
use handles or knobs. ŸTo protect against electrical shock do not immerse cord or plugs in water or other liquid. ŸClose supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children. ŸUnplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts. ŸDo not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment. ŸThe use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer cause injuries.
ŸDo not use outdoors. ŸDo not let cord hang over edge of
table or counter, or touch hor surfaces. ŸDo not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven. ŸExtreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids. ŸAlways attach plug to appliance rst, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to «off», then remove plug from wall outlet.
ŸDo not use appliance for other than intended use.
Never touch the heating elementsŸ during use. ŸKeep children under eight years of age a safe distance if they are not constantly supervised. ŸChildren must never play with the appliance. ŸNever rest mettalic objects such as knives, forks, spoons and lids on the appliance during use. ŸSwitch off the appliance immediately after use. ŸNever try to put out a re or ames with water: Turn off the appliance and smother the ames with a re blanket or other appropriate cover. ŸThe must never be cleaned by unsupervised children. ŸHave qualied personnel carry out installation and assistance interventions according to the standards in force.
ŸDo not modify this appliance. ŸDo not insert pointed metal objects
(cutlery or utensils) into the slots in the appliance. ŸDo not try repair the appliance yourself or without the intervention of a qualied technician. ŸDo not place plastic containers or inammable objects in the drawer.

ŸDo not seat on the appliance. ŸDo not use steam jets to clean the
appliance. ŸDo not obstruct ventilation openings and heat dispersal slots. ŸDo not use the appliance to heat rooms for any reason.
The manufacturer declines all liability for damage to persons or property caused by: ŸUse of the appliance other than as envisaged; ŸNon-observance of the user manual provisions; ŸTampering with any part of the appliance;
ŸUse of non-original spare parts.
ŸThis appliance is intended for
heating food and crockery in the home environment. Every other use is considered improper. ŸThis appliance may be used by children aged at least 8 and by people of reduced physical and mental capacity, or lacking in experience in the use of electrical appliances, provided that they are supervised or instructed by adults who are responsible for their safety. ŸTthe appliance is not designed to operate with external timers or with remote-control system.
This appliance must be disposed of separately from
other waste (Directives. 2002/95/EC, 2002/96/EC, 2003/108/EC). The appliance does not contain substances in quantities sufcient to be considered hazardous to health and the environment, in accordaance with current European directives. To dispose of the appliance: ŸCut the power supply cable and remove it along with the plug.
ŸDisconnect the main power supply. ŸUnplug the appliance.
ŸDeliver the appliance to the
appropriate recycling centre for electrical and electronic equipment waste, or return it to the retailer whem purchasing an equivalent product, on a one for one basis .
