2.4GHz Wireless Ethernet Adapter

Suitable for home and/or office, the EZ Connect™ 2.4GHz Wireless Ethernet
Adapter (SMC2671W) instantly converts any Ethernet device, such as a
gaming console, printer, set-top box, point-of-sale terminal, desktop or laptop
computer into a wireless network device. This new product is a multi-mode
product located in one compact device: Wireless Ethernet Adapter and
Access Point. The new SMC2671W is the ultimate convenient way to expand
your wireless local area network.

Plug-and-Play™ compatible and platform independent, the new SMC2671W

2.4GHz Wireless Ethernet Adapter is easy to install and simple to configure.

The new product does not require installing any drivers. Simply plug it into

your Ethernet device and your Ethernet device will become wireless! It is
able to communicate in Ad-Hoc mode (Peer-to-Peer) with another 802.11b
wireless client or in Infrastructure mode, which requires an Access Point for
communication to the wired network. This means you now have the freedom
to place your printer anywhere in the home or office or to play games with
multiple players over a wireless connection without the constraint of messy
cabling. To ensure secure transmission across a wireless network, users
can use the Web-based interface or Windows Utility program for advanced
configuration. SMC2671W provides a high level of security by supporting

64/128-bit Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP), Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA),

802.1x, disabled SSID broadcast, and MAC address filtering. In addition, the
EZ Connect 2.4GHz Wireless Ethernet Adapter offers an auto-fallback feature
that provides connectivity at 11, 5.5, 2, and 1 Mbps under noisy environments
and enables a larger wireless operating range.

solution for any of your wireless network needs.
