INTRODUCTION

SKYTRON’s STX1 Exam Light provides high quality,
excellent illumination within a stylish, extremely
manueverable lighthead design. Applications include
Exam, Emergency Room, Recovery, Special Procedures,
LDR, LDRP, OB/GYN, and Intensive Care Units.

Provides High Intensity Illumination at 46,000 lux

(4,300 fc) at a working distance of 30".

Non-Sterile Positioning Handle provides precise
positioning options.

Versatile Arm Radius and Slim Design permit smooth
maneuverability and a wide target area for optimal
lighthead positioning.

FEATURES

Lighthead provides Smooth Surfaces for easy wipe-

down between cases.

Fully Adjustable Friction Points assure smooth
movements and drift free performance.

Lighthead Mounted On/Off Control Switch.

ARCHITECTURAL SPECIFICATIONS

Lighting system shall consist of a 9" Exam lighthead
attached to a ceiling mounted radial arm. Lighthead is to
be equipped with a conveniently located ON/OFF switch.
Total system output is to be 46,000 lux at a color
temperature of 4,300° K. Bulb is to be 24v, 50w Halogen
and can be easily changed. System design is to provide
cool, color corrected light that is diffused evenly over the
examination site for optimum shadow reduction. System
shall be SKYTRON Model STX1.

Refer to specific installation instructions.

1/2" support rods located for total support of light, all labor and materials for mounting
structure fabrication supplied by General Contractor. Fixture to be level at mounting and
positioned as shown to assure proper fit of ceiling cover.

All conduit, wiring, and other electrical materials as well as installation labor for the
SKYTRON exam light to be provided by Electrical Contractor. All installations of
SKYTRON exam lights should be under the direct supervision of a SKYTRON
representative. All wiring to be in accordance with local codes. 120VAC power supply to
control fixture to be properly circuit protected.

3.

CONTRACTOR HAS FINAL RESPONSIBILITY for the strength and stability of the
Mounting Structure.
