Important

* Read these directions for use carefully before using the appliance and save them for future
reference.
* Before connecting the appliance ensure that the voltage indication the underside of the
appliance corresponds with the mains voltage in your home.
* Connect the appliance to an earthed wall socket
* Position the appliance so that:

- the power cord is not hanging over the edge of the table or sink;

- children cannot touch it when in use;

- it is standing on a flat surface with sufficient free space around it.
* Never put the power cord near to or in contact with the hot surface of the appliance.
* Always preheat the cooking plate before starting to cook.
* Unplug the appliance after use.
* Do not leave the appliance in operation without supervision.
* Avoid touching the metal parts as they become very hot.
* Never use sharp or abrasive items in contact with the cooking plate as this will damage the
nonstick surface.
* Always clean the appliance after use First unplug and allow the appliance to cool down. Never
immerse the appliance into water. Avoid water running into the appliance.
* If the mains cord of this appliance is damaged, it must only be replaced by their service
representative, as special tools and/or parts are required.
* This appliance is not intended for use by person(including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for

* Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Before using for the first time

* Clean the baking plates with a damp cloth or sponge.
* Slightly grease the baking plates with a little butter or cooking oil.
* Plug in the sandwich maker and heat up the plates until the green Ready to cook pilot light
goes on .
* The sandwich maker is ready for use
Note: when using this sandwich maker for the first time, a fine smoke haze may result. This
is normal because of the initial heating of the internal components.
Making toasted sandwich
* Put the mains plug into the wall socket. The red power light will illuminate to show that the
sandwich maker is heating.
* Prepare the bread and filling for your sandwich while sandwich maker is pre-heating.
* Wait until the green on pilot light gets on. , the sandwich maker is then at the correct
temperature for use.

* To obtain an even golden brown result, you can slightly butter the side of the bread in contact
with the plate.
* Lay the slices of bread with the buttered side on the lower cooking plate, place your filling
and cover with the second slices of bread with buttered side up. You can toast only one sandwich
if you wish. For optimal result, fillings should be placed well within the sandwich slices.
* Lower the upper cooking plate carefully onto the bread until the sandwich maker is tightly
clamped.
* Open the sandwich maker after 2-3 minutes and check whether the toasted sandwich is
sufficiently ‘brown’. The cooking time required to obtain crisp brown sandwiches depends on
the type of bread, fillings and your personal taste.
* Use a non-metallic utensil (e.g. wooden spatula) to remove the toasted sandwich maker. Do
not use sharp or abrasive kitchen utensils.
* Unplug the sandwich maker from the wall socket after use.
Note: During cooking, the green ready to cook pilot light cycles on and off to maintain the
appliance at the correct temperature.

After use how to cleaning:

Never use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents and materials, as this damages the non­sticker coating of the plates.

1. Unplug the appliance.

2. Let the appliance cool down properly in open position.

3. First remove excess oil from the plates with a piece of kitchen paper before you clean them.

4. Use a wooden or plastic spatula to remove stick food residues (for example solidified cheese)

from the cooking plates.
Do not use metal, sharp or abrasive utensils.

5. Clean the cooking plates with a moist soft cloth or sponge.

6. Clean the outside of the appliance with a moist cloth.

Never immerse the appliance into water.

Never use an abrasive cloth as it will damage the coating of the plate.

MODE D’EMPLOI

IMPORTANT

*Lire attentivement ces instructions avant d’utiliser l’appareil et conservez-les pour y réferer
ultérieurement.
* Avant de brancher votre appareil, assurez-vous que la tension électrique de votre domicile
correspond à celle indiquée sur la plaque signalétique de l’appareil.
* Branchez l’appareil à la prise murale liée à la terre.
* Positionnez l’appareil de sorte que:

- le cordon d’alimentation ne dépasse pas du bord de la table ou du plan de travail ou de lavabo ;

- les enfants ne le touchent pas lorsqu'il est lors d'utilisation;

- il se place sur une surface plane et stable.
* Ne laissez pas le câble d’alimentation entrer en contact avec des surfaces chaudes.
* Préchauffer toujours la plaque chauffante avant de commencer le chauffage.
* Débrancher la fiche de la prise après l’utilisation.
* Ne pas laisser l’appareil sans surveillance lorsqu’il est branché à la prise.
* Ne pas toucher les pièces métalliques lorsqu'elles sont chaudes.
* Ne jamais utiliser de matériaux abrasifs ou tranchants afin d'éviter endommager la plaque
de cuisson antiadhésive.
* Nettoyez toujours l’appareil après l’utilisation. Débranchez la fiche de la prise et laissez
l’appareil refroidir. Ne jamais immerger dans l'eau. Ne pas verser l'eau sur l'appareil.
* Si le cordon d’alimentation est endommagé, il doit être réparé par le fabricant ou un de ses
agents de maintenance afin d'éviter tout risque parce que l’appareil nécessite des pièces et/ou
outils spécials.
* Cet appareil n'est pas prévu pour être utilisé par des personnes (y compris les enfants) dont
les capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales sont réduites, ou des personnes dénuées
d'expérience ou de connaissance, sauf si elles ont pu bénéficier, par l'intermédiaire d'une
personne responsable de leur sécurité, d'une surveillance ou d'instructions préalables concernant
l'utilisation de l'appareil.
* Il convient de surveiller les enfants pour s'assurer qu'ils ne jouent pas avec l'appareil.
* Cet appareil n’est pas conçu pour une utilisation avec une minuterie externe ou un système
de commande à distance.

Avant la première utilisation

* Nettoyez les plaques chauffantes avec un chiffon ou une éponge humide.
* Huiler légèrement les plaques chauffantes avec un peu de beurre ou l’huile de cuisson.
* Branchez la fiche de l’appareil à la prise et faites chauffer les plaques jusqu'à ce que le voyant
de température vert s'allume.
* L’Appareil croque monsieur est prêt à utiliser.
Remarque : Il peut arriver que l’appareil dégage une légère fumée lorsqu’il est utilisé pour la
première fois, ceci est tout à fait normal.
Préparer un croque monsieur
* Branchez le cordon principal ( la fiche ) à la prise murale. Le voyant d’alimentation rouge
s’allume pour signaler que l’appareil est en cours de chauffer.
* Préparez le pain et remplissez votre sandwich lorsque l’appareil est en cours de préchauffer.
* Attendez jusqu’à ce que le voyant vert s’allume. Ensuite, l’appareil est atteint à la température

idéal pour l’utilisation.
* Afin d’obtenir le meilleur résultat, vous pouvez légèrement beurrer à côté du pain en contact
avec la plaque.
* Placez les tranches de pain de sorte que le côté beurré se place sur la plaque inférieure,
mettez les garnitures et posez la deuxième tranche de sorte que le côté beurré se place sur
le haut. Si vous souhaitez, vous pouvez griller une seule sandwich ( un seul croque monsieur
) . Pour obtenir le meilleur résultat, vous devez bien placer les ingrédients entre les tranches
de sandwich.
* Abaissez délicatement la plaque chauffante supérieure sur le pain jusqu'à ce que l'appareil
croque monsieur soit bien fermé.
* Ouvrez l’appareil croque monsieur après 2-3 minutes et vérifiez si le pain est bien frit. Le
temps nécessaire pour obtenir des sandwiches ou toasts croustillants ou croquants dépend de
type du pain et de goût personnel.
* Utilisez un ustensile en bois ou en plastique pour retirer les toasts ou les sandwichs ( par
exemple une spatule en bois ). Ne pas utiliser d’ustensile de cuisine pointu ou abrasif.
* Débranchez la fiche de l’appareil de la prise après l’utilisation.
Remarque: Pendant la cuisson, le témoin lumineux vert ce qui indique que l'appareil est prêt
clignote afin de maintenir l'appareil à la bonne température.

Nettoyage après l’utilisation

Ne jamais utiliser les produits de nettoyage abrasifs ou durs parce qu’ils endommagent le
revêtement anti-adhésif des plaques.

1. Débranchez la fiche de l'appareil.

2. Laissez l’appareil refroidir.

3. Retirez les graisses avec un papier de cuisine ( comme serviette en papier ) avant de nettoyer

les plaques.

4. Utilisez un ustensile de cuisine en bois ou en plastique pour retirer les taches tenaces des
plaques chauffantes ( par exemple pour supprimer le fromage solidifié )
Ne pas utiliser d’ustensile métallique, tranchant ou abrasif.

5. Nettoyez les plaques chauffantes avec un chiffon ou une éponge doux et humide.

6. Nettoyez les surfaces extérieures de l’appareil avec un chiffon humide.

Ne jamais plonger l'appareil dans l'eau.

Ne jamais utiliser un chiffon abrasif afin d’éviter endommager le revêtement de la plaque.
* Rangez l’appareil en position verticale.
* Cet appareil n’est pas conçu pour une utilisation avec une minuterie externe ou un système
de commande à distance.

die is vermeld aan de ondertkant van het apparaat compenseert met de voltage in uw huis.
* De stekker van het apparaat in het stopcontact doen aan de muur met aardleiding.
* U moet het apparaat zo positioneren;

- De elektriciteitskabel moet niet neerhangen vanuit de kant van de tafel of wastafel;

- De kinderen moeten het apparaat niet kunnen aanraken tijdens het gebruik ervan;

- Het moet op een platte oppervlakte staan waarbij aan de omgeving voldoende open plek
bevindt.
* De elektriciteitskabel moet nooit dichtbij de warme oppervlakte van het apparaat bevinden
of nooit de warme oppervlakte van het apparaat aanraken.
* Voordat u begint met verwarmen moet u eerst altijd voorverwaring doen van de
verwarmingstabel.
* Nadat u het apparaat hebt gebruikt trekt u de stekker uit het stopcontact.
* Het apparaat niet online laten staan zonder onder toezicht te houden.
* De metalen onderdelen van het apparaat niet aanraken als ze warm zijn.
* Bij de kookplaat nooit snijdende en bijtende middelen gebruiken omdat het schade zal
veroorzaken bij de niet klevende oppervlakte.
* Nadat u het apparaat heeft gebruikt moet u deze altijd schoonmaken. Eerst de stekker van
het apparaat uit het stopcontact trekken en daarna laat u het apparaat verkoelen. Het apparaat
nooit in het water bedrukken. Op het apparaat geen water laten druppelen.
* Als de hoofdstekker van het apparaat schade heeft geleden, moet het alleen door de service
vertegenwoordiger vervangen worden. Want voor deze zijn er speciale apparaten en/of onderdelen
nodig.
* Dit apparaat is niet gepland voor het gebruik door de personen (inclusief de kinderen) die
onvoldoende lichamelijke, zintuiglijke of geestelijke ervaringen hebben tenzij er geen opvoeding
wordt gegeven over het gebruik van het apparaat onder toezicht van of door degene die
verantwoordelijk en bevoegd is voor de veiligheid van het apparaat voor hunzelf.
* De kinderen moeten onder toezicht worden gehouden om ervan zeker te zijn of zij niet met
het apparaat spelen.
* Het apparaat is niet gepland om te laten starten door een externe tijdsafsteller of een aparte
afstandsbedieningssysteem.

Voor het eerste gebruik van het apparaat

* De verwarmingsplaten schoonmaken door te reinigen met een beetje natte doek of spons.
* Met een beetje roomboter of kookolie de verwarmingsplaten een beetje smeren.
* De stekker van het broodrooster in het stopcontact doen en de platen laten verwarmen totdat
de groene pilootlamp brandt die klaar is om te roosteren.
* Broodrooster is klaar voor het gebruik.
Notitie: Bij het voor het eerste gebruik van deze broodrooster kan er een beetje mist of bewolking
zijn.
Dit is normaal omdat de binnenonderdelen voor het eerst worden verwarmd.
