• Her zaman ütülenecek eﬂyan›n üzerinde ütüleme talimat› bulunup bulunmad›¤›n› kontrol ediniz. Her durumda buütüleme talimatlara uyunuz.

• E¤er kumaﬂa herhangi bir tür yüzey iﬂlemi uygulanm›ﬂsa (parlatma, k›r›ﬂt›rma, kabartma vs.) en iyi ütüleme düﬂük s›cakl›klarda yap›l›r.

• ‹lk olarak yünlüleri yünlülerle, pamuklular› pamuklularla vs. kumaﬂlar› ütüleme s›cakl›klar›na göre gruplay›n›z.

• Pilot ›ﬂ›¤› sönüp tekrar yanmaya baﬂlad›¤›nda ütleme iﬂlemine baﬂlayabilirsiniz

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

• Please keep these instructions.

• Read all instructions.

• Before connecting the appliance. Check if the voltage indicated on the rating plate corresponds with the mains voltage in your home.

• The user must not leave the iron unattended while connected to the supply.

• The iron shall be used on a stable ironing board.

• The iron must be used and rested on a stable surface.

• When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the surface on which the stand is placed is stable.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

• The iron shall not be used if the iron has been dropped at any time, or if there are visible signs of damage or if the iron is leaking. The iron shall be sent to the manufacturer or his qualified service agent before further use.

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handle or knobs.

• To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or appliances in water or other liquid.

• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.

• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before storing.

• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the factory for examination, repair or adjustment.

• The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.

•Do not use outdoors.

• Do not let cord hang over the edge of the table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.

• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.

• To disconnect. Remove plug from outlet. Let iron cool completely before putting away.

• Loop cord loosely around iron when storing.

• If an extension cord is absolutely necessary, a 10 ampere cord should be used.

• Do not use this appliance for anything else other than its intended use. This appliance is for household use only.

IRON TEMPERATURE

• Always check first if a label with ironing instructions is attached to the article to be ironed. Follow these ironing instructions in all cases.

• If some kind of finish has been applied(gloss, wrinkle relief etc.).The textile can best be ironed at a lower temperature.

• First sort out the fabrics according to ironing temperature: wool with wool, cotton with cotton, etc.

• The iron heats up quicker than it cools down. Therefore start ironing the articles requiring the lowest temperature such as those made of synthetic fabrics.

• Then progress to the higher temperatures .Finish by ironing cotton and linen.

• If the article is made of a mixture of different fibers. You must always select the lowest ironing temperature of the composition of those fibers.(e.g.an article consisting of “60% polyester and 40% cotton should be ironed on the temperature indicated for polyester.)

• If you do not know what kind of fabric the article has been made of find a spot which will be invisible when wearing or using the article to try out the ironing temperature.(Always start at a low temperature and increase to one which gives the required results.)

• Velvet and other textures which rapidly acquired should be ironed in one direction only(with the nap)applying only light pressure. Always keep the iron moving.

• Iron the reverse side of synthetic materials and silk to prevent shining spots. To prevent staining do not use the spray on silk or other delicate fabrics.

Setting the temperature

• Set the appropriate ironing temperature indicated in the ironing instructions of in the fabric table by means of the temperature dial.

• Insert the mains plug into the wall socket. The pilot light will now come on.

• When the pilot light has gone out and has come on again you can start ironing.

• The pilot light will come on from time to time during ironing. This has no effect on the ironing, so simply continue.

• If you set the temperature control to a lower setting after ironing at a high temperature, do not recommence ironing before the pilot light comes on again.

Ironing tips

• Iron with a straight back. Adjust the height of the ironing board so that the handle of the iron is on the same level as your elbow.

• Pressing onto the iron is not necessary provided that the temperature has been set correctly. Ironing is most effective if the laundry is slightly damp.

When finished ironing

• Place the iron on its rear side.

• Set the temperature dial to position ”MIN”.

• Remove the mains plug from the wall socket.

• Let the iron cool down for at least 30minutes.

• You can wind up the mains cord and then fox the cord clip.

• Store the iron standing on its rear side to prevent damage soleplate.

CLEANING

• Before cleaning remove the mains plug from the wall socket the iron to cool down sufficiently.

• The appliance can be cleaned with a damp cloth.

CONSIGNES IMPORTANTES DE SÉCURITÉ

Lors d’utilisation des appareils électriques y compris les précautions suivantes de sécurité de base devraient être toujours considérés :

• Concervez ce mode d’emploi.

• Lisez attentivement toutes les instructions.

• Avant la première utilisation, vérifiez que la tension de votre réseau électrique correspond bien à celle mentionnée sur la plaque signalétique de votre fer.

• Ne laissez pas le fer sans surveillance lorsqu’il est branché.

• Utilisez l’appareil sur une surface stable

• Placez le fer sur une surface stable.

•Assurez vous que la surface surlaquelle vous placez le fer soit stable.

• Si le câble d’alimentation est endommagé, il doit être remplacé par votre revendeur, son service après-vente ou une personne de qualification similaire afin d’éviter un danger

• Ne pas faire fonctionner le fer à repasser s’il est tombé par terre ou s’il a été endommagé ou en cas de fuite.Avant de réutiliser l’appareil, contactez votre service agrée.

• Cet appareil n’est pas prévu pour être utilisé par des personnes (y compris les enfants) dont les capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales sont réduites, ou des personnes dénuées d’expérience ou de connaissance, sauf si elles ont pu bénéficier, par l’intermédiaire d’une personne responsable de leur sécurité, d’une surveillance ou d’instructions préalables concernant l’utilisation de l’appareil.

• Il convient de surveiller les enfants pour s’assurer qu’ils ne jouent pas avec l’appareil.

• Ne touchez pas les surfaces chaudes, utilisez la poignée ou les boutons du fer.

• Ne pas immerger le câble, la fiche ou l’appreil dans l’eau ou tout autre liquide afin d’éviter le choc électrique.

•Débranchez la fiche de la prise murale lorsque vous n’utilisez pas l’appareil ou avant le nettoyage. Laissez le fer refroidir complètement avant de le ranger.

• N'utilisez pas l'appareil : si la prise ou le câble d’alimentation est endommagé(e), si l’appareil a été endommagé de quelque façon que ce soit ou si vous l’avez laissé tomber, Présentez-le à un centre de service après-vente où il sera inspecté et réparé.

• L’utilisation d’accessoires non recommandés pourrait présenter un danger pour l’utilisateur et risquerait d’endommager l’appareil

• N’utilisez pas l’appareil à l’extérieur.

• Ne laissez pas pendre le câble d’alimentation sur le rebord d’une table ou d’un plan de travail et veillez à ce qu’il n’entre pas en contact avec des surfaces chaudes

• Ne placez pas et n’utilisez pas cet appareil à proximité d’une quelconque source de chaleur (table de cuisson, chauffage, etc.).

• Pour débrancher,retirez la fiche de la prise murale . Laissez le fer refroidir complètement avant de le ranger.

• Enroulez le cordon autour du fer lorsque vous le rangez.

• Si une rallonge nécessite, utilisez un câble de 10 ampères.

• Ne pas utiliser l’appareil hors de son but. Cet appareil est uniquement destiné à un usage domestique.

TEMPERATURE DU FER

• Chaque fois, vérifiez les instructions de repassage sur les vêtements Dans tous les cas,suivez ces instructions.

• Les tissus avec toute retouche (dorure, gaufrer à plis )peuvent être repassés de la meilleure façon à des températures plus basses.

• Prenez premièrement les tissus selon leur température de repassage: les laines avec des laines, les cotons avec des cotons.

• Le fer chauffe beaucoup plus vite qu’il ne se refroidit Par conséquent, commencez repasser par les tissus qui nécessitent une basse température tels que les tissus comprenant les fibres synthétiques.

• Ensuite continuez avec la température élevée ,finissez le repassage par les cotons et les lins.

• Si le linge est composé de textile mélangé (coton avec polyester), vous devez toujours sélectionner la température la plus basse correspondant à la composition de ces textiles. (si le tissu contient 60% de polyester et 40% de coton, vous devez choisir la température correspondante au polyester)

• Si vous ne connaissez pas le type du tissu à repasser ,trouvez une pièce invisible sur les vetêments et y essayez la température du fer (commencez d’abord par les tissus qui se repassent à basse température, puis terminez par ceux qui demandent une température plus élevée)

• Le velvet et les autres textures facilement adhésifs doivent être repassé avec une pression très légère ( placez un tissu sur le linge) et vers une seule direction .Déplacez le fer en permanance.

• Repassez les matières synthétiques et les soies par leurs inverses afin d’éviter les zones claires. N’Utilisez pas de spray sur les tissus fragiles et en soie pour éviter les traces.
