GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

* Before commissioning this device please read the instruction manual carefully * The device is intended exclusively for private and not for commercial use! * Always remove the plug from the socket whenever the device is not in use, when attaching accessory parts, cleaning the device or whenever a disturbance occurs. Switch off the device before hand. Pull on the plug , not on the cable. * In order to protect children from the dangers of electrical appliances, never leave then unsupervised with the device. Consequently, when selecting the location for your device, do so in such a way that children do not have access to the device. Take care to ensure the cable does not hang down. * Test the device and the cable regularly for damage. If there is damage of any kind, the device should not be used. * Do not repair the device yourself, but rather consult an authorized expert. * For safety reasons a broken or damaged mains lead may only be replaced by an equivalent lead from the manufacturer, our customer service department or a similarity qualified person. * Keep the device and the cable away from heat, direct sunlight, moisture, sharp edges and suchlike. * Never use the device unsupervised! Switch off the device whenever you are not using it, even if this is only for a moment. * Use only original accessories. * Do not use the device outdoors. * Under no circumstances must the device be placed in water or other liquid, or come into contact with such. Do not use the device with wet or moist hands. * Should the device become moist or wet, remove the mains plug from the socket immediately. Do not reach into the water. * Use the device only for the intended purpose.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR THIS MACHINE

* Use only cold water when filling. * The water level must be between the MAX. and MIN. marks! * Switch the machine off before removing it from the base. * Always ensure that the lid is tightly closed. * The base and exterior of the machine must not become wet.

FIRST USE OF THE MACHINE

Before using the machine for the first time water should be in it twice without any additives.

1. Place the machine on a flat surface.

2. Fill the kettle with water. Do not overfill! Use the water level indicator.

3. Place the kettle flush on the base.

4. Electrical connection

* Check whether the electrical voltage that you intend to use is the same as that of the machine. Details are to be found on the label on the base. * Only connect the machine to a properly installed 230V, 50Hz safety socket.

5. Switch the machine to position “1”. The control lamp on the water level indicator shows that the water is being boiled.

6. After boiling the machine switches off automatically.

Disconnect the machine from the mains electricity supply. Do not press us the lid when pouring.

CLEANING

Always remove the plug from the mains supply before cleaning the machine! The exterior of the machine should be cleaned, if necessary, with a slightly damp cloth without additives. The calcium filter can be removed for cleaning.

Do not dispose of this product in the usual household garbage at the end of its life cycle; handle it over at a collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic appliances The symbol on the product ,the instruction for use or the packing will inform about the methods for disposal. CONSIGNES GÉNÉRALES

* Veuillez lire attentivement ce manuel avant de commencer à utiliser l'appareil. * Cet appareil n’est pas conçu pour être utilisé à des fins commerciales, il est destiné uniquement à l’usage personnel. * Débranchez absolument la fiche électrique lorsque l’appareil n’est pas en usage, lorsque vous montez un accessoire à l’appareil, lorsque vous le nettoyez ou en cas de problème quelconque. Positionnez premièrement le bouton de l’appareil sur « arrêt ». Lorsque vous débranchez, saisissez la fiche et non le cordon. * Ne vous absentez jamais de l’endroit où se trouve l’appareil en vue de protéger les enfants contre les dangers que peuvent causer les appareils électriques. Placez votre appareil hors de la portée des enfants. Assurez-vous que le cordon ne pende pas. * Contrôlez régulièrement l’appareil et le cordon pour être sûr qu’aucun dommage n’a lieu. En cas de dommage quelconque, ne continuez pas à utiliser l’appareil. * Ne tentez pas de réparer vous-même l’appareil mais consultez le service agréé. * Pour des raisons de sécurité, un cordon d’alimentation endommagé ou en panne doit être remplacé avec un cordon équivalent uniquement par le fabricant, le service agréé ou par un technicien qualifié. * Protégez l’appareil et le cordon contre la chaleur, les rayons directs du soleil, l’humidité, les bords coupants et les cas similaires. * Ne vous absentez jamais de l’endroit où se trouve l’appareil lorsque l’appareil est en marche! Ne contactez absolument pas l’eau. * Utilisez l’appareil uniquement de façon convenable avec ses fins d’usage. * Mettez uniquement de l’eau froide dans l’appareil. * Le niveau d’eau doit être entre les signes de MAX. et de MIN. ! * Positionnez l’appareil sur « arrêt » avant de le soulever de sa base d’alimentation. * Assurez-vous d’avoir clôturé le couvercle fermement. * La semelle ou la partie extérieure ne doit pas se mouiller.

PREMIÈRE UTILISATION DE L’APPAREIL

Avant de commencer à utiliser l’appareil pour la première fois, faites bouillir de l’eau deux fois à l’intérieur sans utiliser aucun produit de nettoyage.

1. Installez l’appareil sur une surface plate.

2. Remplissez la bouilloire avec de l’eau. Ne remplissez pas l’appareil de façon excessive ! Utilisez les indications de niveaux

d’eau.

3. Faites entièrement installer la bouilloire à la semelle. Connexion Électrique * Assurez-vous que la valeur de voltage de l’installation électrique à la quelle vous aller brancher l’appareil soit la même que celle de votre appareil. Les renseignements relatifs à ce sujet sont indiqués sur l’étiquette de la base d’alimentation. * Branchez l’appareil uniquement à une prise de 230V, 50Hz installée correctement.

4. Positionnez l’appareil sur “1”. Le voyant lumineux se trouvant au-dessus de l’indicateur d’eau signifie que l’eau boue.

5. L’appareil s’arrête automatiquement après l’opération d’ébullition.

Débranchez la fiche électrique de l’appareil. N’ouvrez pas le couvercle pendant que vous versez l’eau bouillante.

NETTOYAGE

Débranchez l’appareil avant de le nettoyer ! Nettoyez la partie extérieure de l’appareil avec un chiffon humide si nécessaire et sans utiliser un produit de nettoyage quelconque. Le filtre de calcaire peut être nettoyé en étant démonté.

CONSIGNES RELATIVES À LA PROTECTION DE L’ENVIRONNEMENT

Une fois que la vie d’usage de ce produit est terminée, il ne doit pas être jeté comme une ordure ménagère normale; remettez l’appareil aux centres de collectes relatifs au recyclage des équipements électriques et électroniques. Pour vous défaire du produit, veuillez respecter s’il vous plaît les signes qui se trouvent dans le mode d’emploi ou sur l’emballage. Tels qu’indiqués avec les signes qui sont au-dessus, les matériels sont recyclables. Vous contribuerez à la protection de l’environnement en assurant la réutilisation, le recyclage ou le profit d’autres façons des vieux appareils. Pour apprendre le lieu du centre de déchets autorisé, veuillez s’il vous plaît vous mettre en contact avec les autorisés locaux.

ALGEMENE INSTRUCTIES

* Neem deze handleiding aandachtig door voordat u het apparaat in gebruik neemt. * Dit apparaat is uitsluitend bedoeld voor privaat gebruik en niet voor handelsdoeleinden. * Neem altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact als het apparaat niet wordt gebruikt, gereinigd wordt of ingeval van enig probleem. Schakel eerst het apparaat uit. Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact door de stekker vast te grijpen, trek niet aan het snoer. * Stel kinderen niet bloot aan de gevaren die verbonden zijn aan elektrische apparaten. Installeer het apparaat buiten het bereik van kinderen, let erop dat het snoer niet over rand van tafel of aanrecht hangt en verwijder u niet van het apparaat als het in werking is. * Controleer het snoer en de stekker regelmatig op eventuele beschadigingen. Gebruik het apparaat niet ingeval van beschadiging. * Tracht nooit zelf het apparaat te herstellen, laat alle reparatiewerken uitvoeren door een bevoegde Service. * Een beschadigd of defect snoer moet door de fabrikant, een bevoegde Service of geschoold vakman door een evenwaardig snoer worden vervangen. * Stel het apparaat of het snoer niet bloot aan rechtstreekse zonnestralen, vocht, scherpe randen, hete oppervlakken e.d. * Laat het apparaat niet onbeheerd achter terwijl het in werking is! Neem de stekker uit het stopcontact als u het apparaat niet gebruikt, als is het maar even. * Gebruik uitsluitend originele accessoires. * Gebruik het apparaat niet buitenhuis. * Dompel het apparaat in geen geval in water of in een andere vloeistof en zorg dat het er niet mee in aanraking komt. Raak het apparaat niet aan met natte of vochtige handen. * Neem dadelijk de stekker uit het stopcontact als het apparaat per ongeluk vochtig of nat is geworden. * Gebruik het apparaat uitsluitend voor het bestemde doel.

INSTRUCTIES IN VERBAND MET DIT APPARAAT

* Vul dit apparaat alleen met koud water. * Het waterpeil moet tussen de MAX. en MIN. niveauaanduidingen blijven. * Schakel het apparaat uit voordat u de kettle van het onderstel neemt. * Vergewis u ervan dat het deksel goed gesloten is. * Het onderstel of de buitenzijde van het apparaat mogen niet nat worden.

HET APPARAAT IN GEBRUIK NEMEN

Kook twee keer water in het apparaat zonder toevoeging van een reinigingsmiddel vooraleer u het apparaat in gebruik neemt.

1. Installeer het apparaat op een vlak en stabiel oppervlak.

2. Vul de kettle met koud water. Doe niet te veel water in de kettle, neem de min. en max. peilaanduidingen in acht.

3. Plaats de kettle degelijk op het onderstel.

4. Elektrische aansluiting

* Controleer of de voltage die vermeld is op het typeplaatje op het onderstel van het apparaat, overeenstemt met de plaatselijke netspanning. * Sluit het apparaat aan op een degelijk gemonteerd 230V, 50Hz stopcontact.

5. Zet het apparaat aan in stand “1”. Het indicatielampje boven de waterpeilaanduiding zal oplichten terwijl het water verwarmd wordt.

6. Als het water kookt wordt het apparaat automatisch uitgeschakeld. Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact. Laat het deksel dicht terwijl u het gekookt water uit de kettle giet.

REINIGING

Neem de stekker uit het stopcontact voordat u het apparaat gaat reinigen! Reinig de buitenzijde van het apparaat met een lichtjes met water bevochtigde doek en zonder gebruik te maken van een reinigingsmiddel. De kalkfilter kan gedemonteerd en apart gereinigd worden.

INSTRUCTIES TER BESCHERMING VAN HET MILIEU

Dit product mag op het einde van zijn nuttige levensduur niet met het gewone huisafval worden afgevoerd. Het moet worden ingeleverd op een verzamelpunt voor recycling van elektrische en elektronische apparaten. Let op het betreffende afvoersymbool op het product, de gebruiksaanwijzing en/of de verpakking. Sommige materialen van dit product kunnen opnieuw gebruikt worden. Door het apparaat op de correcte wijze af te voeren zorgt u ervoor dat de bruikbare grondstoffen kunnen herverwerkt worden en draagt u aanzienlijk bij tot de bescherming van het milieu. Neem contact op met de plaatselijke autoriteiten om informatie in te winnen omtrent het dichtst bijgelegen inzamelpunt.
