5WhentheISOlehasbeendownloaded,burnitonaCDusingtheBurnimageto

discfeatureofferedbymostburningprograms.

IfyoufailtoburntheCDusingthisfeature,youwillnotbeabletoreadthe
installationles.

6IfyouwishtoinstallthesoftwarefromaUSBmemorystick,copytheinstallation

lesfromtheCDtothememorystick.

Softwareprocedures

IfthePI50systemisprovidedwithacomputer,itisdeliveredwithallnecessarysoftware
installed,conguredandtested.Ifyouuseyourowncomputer,youmustdothisyourself.

SoftwareupgradesareusefulifyourPI50fails,andyoususpectasoftwareerror.An
upgradeisalsorequiredwheneverthePI50softwareismodied.

Tocheckwhichsoftwareversionyouhave,observetheAboutdialogopenedfromthe

Displaymenu.

Ifyouexperienceproblemsduringasoftwareinstallationorupgrade,writedownthe
installationparameters.RemovethePI50softwareentirely,thenreinstallfromscratch.

IfyourcomputerisnotttedwithaCDorDVDdrive,copythelesfromtheCDto
aUSBmemorystick.

3Observethattheinstallationprogramopens.

Iftheinstallationprogramdoesnotstartautomatically,usealemanagerto
accesstheCDorUSBmemorystick.Double-clickontheSetup.exeletostart
theinstallation.

4Allowtheinstallationprogramtorun.Followtheinstructionsprovided.

5Oncetheinstallationhasbeencompleted,double-clicktheprogramicononthe

desktoptostarttheapplication.

•V esseltype(trawler,purseseiner,etc.)

•V esselowner’sname,addressandcontactinformation

•HardwareID

6Whenthesoftwarelicenseisreturned,startthePI50,opentheSoftwareLicense

dialog,andclickEnterLicenceString.
