instructions are a part of this product. They contain important information on
its safety, use and disposal. Familiarise yourself with all of these operating and
safety instructions before using the product. Use this appliance only as described
and only for the specifi ed areas of application. Additionally, pass these instructions on to whoever might acquire the appliance at a future date.

Safety instructions
DANGER - RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK!
► Connect the universal food processor only to properly installed
power sockets with a mains voltage of 220 - 240 V ~ and 50 Hz.
► To avoid potentially fatal risks, arrange for a defective power
plug and/or cable to be replaced at once by qualifi ed technicians or our Customer Service Department.
► Unplug the universal food processor from the socket if you notice
any faulty operation and when you decide to clean it.
► Always remove the power cable from the socket by pulling on the
plug, do not pull on the cable itself.
► Do not crease or crimp the power cable and place the power cable
in such a way to prevent anyone from stepping or tripping over it.

Do not submerse the motor block of the universal food
processor in liquids at any time and do not permit liquids to
penetrate into the housing of the motor block.
► NEVER subject the appliance to moisture and do not use it
outdoors. If by chance liquids do enter into the housing, unplug
the appliance from the power socket immediately and have it
repaired by a qualifi ed technician.
► Never grasp the universal food processor, the power cable or the
plug with wet hands.
► Should the power cable or motor block become damaged, arrange
for the universal food processor to be repaired by a qualifi ed specialist before using it again. Do not open the motor block housing
of the universal food processor. Should you do so, appliance safety
can no longer be assured and the warranty becomes void.
► Separate your universal food processor from the mains supply im-
mediately after use. The appliance is completely free of electrical
power only when you unplug it.

► Before changing accessories or additional parts that are in motion
during operation, the appliance must be switched off and disconnected from mains power.
► Never use the appliance for purposes other than those described
in these instructions.
► Take care when emptying the bowl! The blade is very sharp!
► Take care when cleaning the appliance! The blade is very sharp!
► The appliance should always be disconnected from the mains when
not supervised and before assembly, disassembly or cleaning.
► This appliance may not be used by children.
► The appliance and its connecting cable must be kept away from
children.
► This appliance may be used by people with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and/or
knowledge if they are supervised and have been instructed in
how to use the appliance safely and have understood the
potential risks.
► Children must not play with the device.
► Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
► Handle the extremely sharp blade with caution, it can cause
injuries. Reassemble the universal food processor after using and
cleaning it so that you do not injure yourself with the blade. Keep
the blade out of the reach of children.
► Never attempt to remove foodstuff s from the vessel as long as the
blade is still running. Risk of serious injury!
► Before removing the motor block, wait until the knife has stopped
rotating. NEVER try to grasp the still rotating knife blade!

CAUTION - PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Pay heed to the table of fi lling quantities in the chapter “Chopping”.
If you do not, there is a risk of soiling due to content being
squeezed out.
► Do NOT clean the motor block in the dish-washer, doing so
would damage it.

Initial Preparations
Unpacking
♦ Remove all components of the appliance and these operating instructions
from the carton.
♦ Remove all packaging material.
♦ Clean all of the components as described in the section “Cleaning and care”.
Disposal of the packaging
The packaging protects the appliance from transport damage. The packaging
materials are selected from the point of view of their environmental friendliness
and disposal technology and are therefore recyclable.
The recirculation of packaging into the material circuit saves on raw material and
reduces the amount of waste generated. Dispose of packaging material that is
no longer needed as per the regionally established regulations.
NOTICE
If possible preserve the appliance's original packaging during the warranty
►
period so that, in the event of a warranty claim, you can package the appliance ideally for its return.

Chopping
1) Place the bowl 7 in the appliance base 8.
2) Place the blade holder 5 with the blade 6 on the drive shaft in the interior
of the bowl 7.
3) Prepare the items to be processed by cutting large pieces to a size that will
fi t in the bowl 7.
4) Place the food to be processed in the bowl 7. Thereby, pay heed to the
following table:

5) Ensure that the sealing ring 4 is inserted into the lid 3: the two rubber lips
on the sealing ring 4 must engage in the plastic rail in the interior of the lid 3.
6) Then close the bowl 7 with the lid 3: Place it on the bowl 7 so that the
lugs on the lid 3 engage in the slots on the bowl 7. Then turn the lid 3
so that the lugs slide under the slots and the lid 3 locks into place.
7) Place the motor unit 2 on the lid 3.
8) Insert the plug into a mains power socket.
9) Press the motor unit 2 down to start the motor at normal operating speed.
10) To obtain the higher processing speed “Turbo“ for the contents, in addition
to the motor unit 2 press and hold down the turbo button 1. As soon
as you release the turbo button 1 the appliance returns to the normal
operating speed.
NOTICE
Should larger pieces of the contents collect on the wall of the bowl while
►
processing, lift the motor unit 2 from the lid 3. Shake the bowl 7 vigor-
ously and then continue with the processing. Remove possible residues with
a dough scraper.
► Before starting the processing, particularly hard foods must be cut into
smaller pieces (about 2cm). Otherwise, the motor will block. Select a
pulsating processing for hard foodstuff s. For this, press the turbo button 1
repeatedly for a short time (in addition to the motor block 2). Should the
foodstuff not be completely chopped, you can either cut it into smaller
pieces or lift the motor unit 2 from the lid 3. Shake the bowl 7 vigorously
and then continue with the processing.
11) When the contents have been suffi ciently chopped, release the motor unit 2
and, if necessary, the turbo button 1.
12) Remove the power plug from the mains power socket.
WARNING - RISK OF INJURY!
► Never attempt to remove foodstuff s from the bowl 7 as long as the
blade 6 is still rotating. Contents could shoot out and make a mess.
13) Wait until the blade 6 has stopped rotating.
14) Lift the motor unit 2 from the lid 3 and remove it.

WARNING - RISK OF INJURY!
► To prevent injuries, exercise caution when handling the extremely sharp
blade 6. Keep the blade 6 out of the reach of children.
15) Carefully pull the blade holder 5 with the blade 6 out of the bowl 7.
16) Remove the contents.
NOTICE
Due to the grinding of hard and abrasive foodstuff s, the bowl 7 can take
►
on a dull appearance over time. This is normal and does not infl uence the
functioning of the appliance.
NOTICE
You can use the appliance base 8, after the processing of the foods has
►
been completed, as a lid for the bowl 7, to help keep the food fresh for
longer.
► Take the motor unit 2 and lid 3 off of the bowl 7.
► The blade holder 5 with the blade 6 can, if you wish, remain in the
bowl 7.

► Disconnect the appliance base 8 from the underside of the bowl 7. You
can now place the appliance base 8 on the bowl 7 and press it in the
middle so that it closes the bowl 7.
Cleaning and care
DANGER - RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK!
Before cleaning, ALWAYS remove the plug from the mains power socket!
►
There is the risk of receiving an electric shock!
► Do not open any part of the housing. There are no user-serviceable elements
inside. An open housing can create the risk of a lethal electrical shock.
NEVER submerse the appliance in water or other liquids! This would
increase the risk of a potentially fatal electric shock should liquids
come into contact with power carrying components.
WARNING - RISK OF INJURY!
► To prevent injuries, exercise caution when handling the extremely sharp
blade 6. Reassemble the Universal Food Processor after using and/or
cleaning it so that you do not injure yourself on the exposed blade 6.
Keep the blade 6 out of the reach of children.

CAUTION - PROPERTY DAMAGE!
Storage
Do not clean the motor unit 2, the appliance base 8 and the sealing
►
ring 4 in a dishwasher, as this would damage them.
► Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning materials. These could attack
the upper surfaces and irreparably damage the appliance.
■ Remove the plug from the mains power socket.
■ Clean the motor unit 2 with a moist cloth. Dry it well.
■ Remove the sealing ring 4 from the lid 3 and release the appliance base 8
from the bowl 7.
■ The bowl 7, the lid 3 and the blade holder 5 with the blade 6 are
dishwasher safe.
■ Clean the sealing ring 4 and the appliance base 8 in water and add a mild
detergent. Afterwards, rinse all parts with clean water so that no detergent
residues remain. Ensure that everything is dryed thoroughly before reassembling the appliance.
■ Clean the appliance as described in the section “Cleaning and care”.
■ Store the appliance in a dry and clean location.

You receive a 3-year warranty for this appliance as of the purchase date. This
appliance has been manufactured with care and meticulously examined before
delivery.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the case of a warranty claim,
please make contact by telephone with our Customer Service department. Only
in this way can a post-free despatch for your goods be assured.
NOTICE
The warranty covers only material or manufacturing faults, but not for

transport damage, normal wear and tear or damage to fragile parts, such
as switches.
This product is for domestic use only and is not intended for commercial applications. In the event of misuse and improper handling, use of force and interference
not carried out by our authorised service branch, the warranty will become void.
Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this warranty.

► Jos virtajohto tai moottorilohko on vaurioitunut, yleisleikkuri on
annettava alan ammattilaisen korjattavaksi, ennen kuin sitä
voidaan käyttää uudelleen. Yleisleikkurin moottorilohkon koteloa
ei saa avata. Jos laitteen kotelon avaa itse, turvallisuus ei ole
taattu eikä takuu ole voimassa.
► Irrota yleisleikkurisi sähköverkosta heti käytön jälkeen. Laite on
täysin jännitteetön ainoastaan silloin, kun verkkopistoke on irrotettu
sähköverkosta.

Esivalmistelut
Purkaminen pakkauksesta
♦ Poista kaikki laitteen osat ja käyttöohje laatikosta.
♦ Poista koko pakkausmateriaali
♦ Puhdista kaikki osat luvussa "Puhdistus ja hoito" kuvatulla tavalla.
Pakkauksen hävittäminen
Pakkaus suojaa laitetta kuljetusvaurioilta. Pakkausmateriaalit on valittu ympäristöystävällisyys ja jätehuoltotekniset näkökohdat huomioiden ja siksi ne voidaan
kierrättää.
Pakkauksen palauttaminen materiaalikiertoon säästää raaka-aineita ja vähentää
jätteiden syntymistä. Hävitä tarpeettomat pakkausmateriaalit paikallisten voimassa
olevien määräysten mukaisesti.

Hienontaminen
1) Aseta kulho 7 jalustaan 8.
2) Työnnä teränpidike 5 ja terä 6 käyttöakselille kulhon 7 sisään.
3) Valmistele hienonnettava tuote pienentämällä suuret kappaleet sen verran,
että ne mahtuvat kulhoon 7.
4) Aseta hienonnettava tuote kulhoon 7. Huomioi tällöin seuraava taulukko:

5) Varmista, että tiivisterengas 4 on asetettu kanteen 3: Tiivisterenkaan 4
molempien kumihuulten on tartuttava kannen 3 sisällä olevaan muovikis-
koon.
6) Sulje sitten kulho 7 kannella 3: Aseta se kulholle 7 niin, että kannessa 3
olevat nokat osuvat kulhon 7 kiskoihin. Kierrä kantta 3 sitten niin, että
nokat liukuvat kiskoissa alaspäin ja kansi 3 lukittuu paikoilleen.
7) Aseta moottorilohko 2 kannelle 3.
8) Työnnä verkkopistoke verkkopistorasiaan.
9) Paina moottorilohkoa 2 alaspäin käynnistääksesi moottorin normaalilla
työstönopeudella.
10) Suurempi työstönopeus "Turbo" hienonnettavalle tuotteelle saavutetaan
painamalla moottorilohkon 2 lisäksi Turbo-painiketta 1 ja pitämällä sitä
painettuna. Heti kun Turbo-painike 1 vapautetaan, laite työskentelee
jälleen normaalilla työstönopeudella.

Jos kulhon reunaan kertyy työstön aikana suurempia kappaleita hienonnet-
►
tavaa tuotetta, nosta moottorilohko 2 pois kannelta 3. Ravista kulhoa 7
voimakkaasti ja aloita työstö lopuksi uudelleen alusta. Poista mahdolliset
jäämät taikinakaapimen avulla.
► Erityisen kovat elintarvikkeet on jaettava ennen työstöä pienempiin osiin
(n. 2 cm). Muutoin moottori voi jumittua. Valitse sykkivä työstö koville
elintarvikkeille. Paina tätä varten Turbo-painiketta 1 useita kertoja lyhyesti
(moottorilohkon 2 lisäksi). Jos hienonnettavaa tuotetta ei ole hienonnettu
täysin, leikkaa se joko pienemmiksi kappaleiksi tai nosta moottorilohko 2
pois kannelta 3. Ravista kulhoa 7 voimakkaasti ja aloita työstö lopuksi
uudelleen alusta.
11) Kun tuote on hienonnettu, vapauta moottorilohko 2 ja tarvittaessa Turbopainike 1.
12) Irrota verkkopistoke.
VAROITUS - LOUKKAANTUMISVAARA!
► Älä koskaan poista elintarvikkeita kulhosta 7, jos terä 6 vielä pyörii.
Pyörivä terä aiheuttaa loukkaantumisvaaran. Ulos roiskuvat ruoka-aineet
voivat liata paikkoja.
13) Odota, kunnes terä 6 seisoo paikoillaan.
14) Nosta moottorilohko 2 kannelta 3 ja irrota se.

► Irrota jalusta 8 kulhon 7 pohjasta. Voit nyt asettaa jalustan 8 kulholle 7
ja painaa sitä keskeltä niin, että se sulkee kulhon 7.
Puhdistus ja hoito

astianpesukoneessa, koska se vahingoittaisi niitä.

► Älä käytä hankaavia tai syövyttäviä puhdistusaineita. Nämä voivat
vahingoittaa pintaa ja vaurioittaa laiteen korjauskelvottomaan kuntoon.
■ Irrota verkkopistoke.
■ Puhdista moottorilohko 2 kostealla liinalla. Kuivaa se hyvin.
■ Ota tiivisterengas 4 kannesta 3 ja irrota jalusta 8 kulhosta 7.
■ Kulho 7, kansi 3 ja teränpidike 5 terineen 6 soveltuvat konepesuun.
■ Puhdista tiivisterengas 4 ja jalusta 8 vedessä, johon on lisätty mietoa as-
tianpesuainetta. Huuhtele sen jälkeen kaikki osat raikkaalla vedellä niin, ettei
niihin jää astianpesuainejäämiä. Varmista, että kaikki osat kuivataan hyvin,
ennen kuin laite kootaan jälleen.
Säilytys
■ Puhdista laite luvussa "Puhdistus ja hoito" kuvatulla tavalla.
■ Säilytä laite kuivassa ja puhtaassa paikassa.

Laitteen takuu on 3 vuotta ostopäivästä. Laite on valmistettu huolellisesti ja tarkistettu tarkasti ennen toimitusta.
