This bulletin has been issued as a notification of an issue with IC4
v15.0 on ST700/ST750 LV Dual Pedestrian Controllers.
IC4 v15.0, and ST700/ST750 LV Dual Pedestrian Controllers
(sometimes referred to as the ‘Biscuit Tin’ controller)
Modifications to IC4 to support the Plus+ Controller have
inadvertently introduced a bug within IC4 v15.0 which affects the
way it configures Audibles for ST700/ST750 LV Pedestrian
Controllers.
When a ST700/ST750 LV site is installed or updated with a
configuration modified with IC4 v15.0, it causes a problem with the
Audible Output on the second stream of ST700 and ST750 LV
Pedestrian Controllers. This causes them to shut down and report
FLF 2:26 indicating that the Audible is not working correctly as
soon as the Audible output is requested on.
This can result in a lot of time investigating and replacing parts
trying to fix what looks like a hardware fault but in fact was due to
a configuration error. To avoid this issue and until a fix can be
implemented into IC4, please DO NOT build or update ST700/750
Configurations with version 15.0 of IC4
Note 1: The same fault occurs when the configuration is tested
using the IC4 Emulator, as well as on the physical Controller.
Note 2: The binary files for the standard ST700/ST750
Configurations supplied with IC4 v15.0 are unaffected, e.g.
“E30700_ST750.8BN”. The problem only affects configurations
