Installation Instructions
Model PS-5A
Power Supply
OPERATION
The Model PS-5A from Siemens Industry, Inc., is a
power supply that can be used with the MOI-1/7.
Input power for the PS-5A is compatible with the
MXL Voice system.
INSTALLATION
(Refer to Figure 1 on reverse side)
1. The PS-5A mounts to a System 3 rail
assembly. Select the location along the rail
that provides the easiest connection of the
PS-5A to the MOI-1/7.
2. Cables are supplied with the MOI-1/-7 for
connection to the MOI-1/7. Refer to Figure 1
for cable connections.
3. Connect the input power to the PS-5A at
TB1-2 and TB1-3 on the module. This is a
24V input obtained from the system power
supply. See Figure 1 for the list of acceptable
power sources.
ELECTRICAL RATINGS
Input: 18 to 31 VDC, 300mA max
J1: 24V feed through 250mA max
Output: J2 and J3: 5 VDC, 1A max
(Total current on J2 and J3)
