Parts required 2.1

ARCADIS Avantic, complete laser light localizer: 10 04 7655,

consisting of:

- Light beam localizer

- 4x spacers

-4x screws

- Warning labels according to IEC 825 (text and symbol)

- Identification label

- for U.S.A.: Class 2 laser warning logo type and DHHS certification label

- Various small parts

Removing the cover 2.3

• Disconnect the ARCADIS Avantic power plug.

• Remove the cover plate from the basic unit.

• Remove the POWERPHOS cover by carefully loosening the bonding surfaces on the

long sides of the cover.

• Loosen and remove the cover from the tube collimator.

• Route the spare leads (white and gray) up and out through the back.

• Replace the cover of the tube collimator.

Assembling the visual localizer on the POWERPHOS 3.1

• Loosen the screw (1/Fig.4/p.11).

• Without Diamentor:

- Insert the bolts provided into the threaded holes.

• With Diamentor:

• Install the visual localizer as shown in (Fig.4/p.11) and secure it to the POWER-

PHOS via 4 screws and contact disks (1 und 2/Fig. 4 / p. 11).

• Connect the white spare lead to point X55.1 (+).

• Connect the gray spare lead to point X55.4 (-).

• Secure the two spare leads using cable ties.

Changing the configuration (ARCADIS Avantic only): 3.2

• Log on to the service menu.

• Click <Main System>-<Configuration>-<Options>.

• Set "Laser Existing" to <yes> and click <Save>.

• Back up the parameters.

• System ON.

• Test the functioning of the

button

- When the laser light localizer is switched on, the LEDs must be lit in this button and
both laser diodes.

• Test the automatic switch off of the laser light localizer: Switch on the laser light local-

izer. The two laser diodes must shut off automatically after approx. 5 minutes.

NOTICE

Important with regard to the laser light localizer:

¹ Before performing the final steps, the laser light localizer

has to be adjusted according to the provided adjustment
instructions.
