GENERAL
Congratulations on your purchase of a Shure U1H. The U1H is a high– powered version of the Shure U1 transmitter and is compatible with all Shure U4 receivers. Operation of the U1H is virtually identical to that of the U1. Only the transmitter/receiver spacing and battery life dif fer from the U1. Both are described below . Refer to the UHF System User Guide for detailed U1H operating instructions.

U1H Transmitter Battery Life
Because of its increased rf output power , the U1H requires more battery power than the U1. Two 1.5V AA alkaline batteries typically provide 4–6 hours of U1H operation, compared to 6–10 hours of operation they provide the U1 transmitter .
For more information on the U1H, contact the Shure Applications Group at (847) 866–2525.
