CHANGE CARRIED OUT IN THE SHAPE OF THE DV SIDE SEAL.

1.Model Name: SD-2060/2160, SD-3062

2.General: There have been occasional problems of developer falling from the mouth section of

the developing unit and the end section of the MG roller in the SD-2060 series. This problems was caused by the developer riding above the DVT seal due to magnetic deviations along the length of the MG roller. As a measure to alleviate this problem a 1 mm section has been cut away from the DVT seal to help prevent contact, and at the same time the AG seal used with model SD-2275 has been attached to help prevent the developer from falling and the toner from scattering.

3.Description: Change carried out in the shape of the DV side seal (F/R) of the developing tank.

DVT seal F: PSEL-0537FCZZ → PSEL-0537FCZ1 (Qty: 1) DVT seal R: PSEL-0538FCZZ → PSEL-0538FCZ1 (Qty: 1)

Addition of a DVAG seal carried out in the developing tank.

DVAG seal Z: <Added> PSEL-0762FCZ1 (Qty: 2)

4. Maintenance kit: A change in shape has been carried out in the maintenance kit just as with the DVT

seal, and a change has been carried out in the parts code, but the addition of the DVAG seal Z has not been carried out.

5.Action: From 1998 July production.

6.Method to distinguish:

Face C has been added to the corners of the new DVT seals (PSEL-0537FCZ1/PSEL-0538FCZ1).
