2.General:Some of the lot numbers of models of the consumable items used with the copy
machines (drum, toner developer) are not listed in the service manual. All of the
consumable parts, including those that are properly listed in the service manual, have
been listed on a separate, supplementary page. Your cooperation is requested in using
this list together with the service manual.

(1) Numbers 1-3: Stand for the sensitivity level of the photoconductor
(2) Letters: Stands for applicable model names
(3) Numbers: Stands for the last number of the year in which the product was
manufactured.
(4)(5)(6) Numbers or X, Y, Z : Stand for the date on which the drum surface was coated
(X=October, Y=November, Z=December).
(7)(8)(9) Numbers : Indicates the date (month and day) of assembly and production of
the drum flange. (X=October, Y=November, Z=December).
(10) Letter "A" or no letter: A=S Type; No letter=M Type
[M Type]

(1) Numbers 1-3: Stands for the sensitive level of the photoconductor.
(2)(3) Letters: Stands for applicable model names.
(4) Numbers: Stands for the last number of the year in which the product was
manufactured.
(5) Numbers or X, Y, or Z : Stands for the month in which the product was manufactured
(X=October, Y=November, Z=December).
(6) Numbers: Stands for the lot number.
(7) Numbers: Stands for the sub lot number.
(8) Numbers or X, Y, or Z : Stands for the month in which the product was packaged
(X=October, Y= November, Z=December).
(9)(10) Numbers: Stands for the day on which the product was packaged.

[S Type] Toner and developer (Regarding the toner, there are two types of indications
according to by whom it was filled.)

(1) Letters: Stands for the factory where the product was manufactured
(A=JPN, B=U.S.A.).
(2) Numbers: Stands for the last number of the year in which the product
was manufactured.

(5)(6) Numbers: Stands for the day on which the product was manufactured.
(7) Numbers: Stands for the sub lot number.
(1) Numbers: Stands for the last number of the year in which the product was
manufactured (A=JPN, B=U.S.A.).
(2) Letters (0, A, B, C) : The letters 0, A, B, and C are used properly according to the
monthly output (0=less than 100,000, A=more than 100,001
and less than 200,000, B=more than 200,001 and less than
300,000 , C=more than 300,001 and less than 400,000)
(3)(4)(5)(6)(7) Numbers : Stands for the serial number.
(8) Numbers or X, Y, or Z : Stands for the month in which the product was manufactured
(X=October, Y=November, Z=December).

(6) Numbers: Stands for the month on which the product was manufactured.
(7) Numbers: Stands for the lot number.
