CHANGE CARRIED OUT IN THE DEVELOPING UNIT
AND DISCONTINUANCE OF A MYLAR SHEET.

1.Model Name: SF-2116/2118/1016/1018, SF-2216/2218/1116/1118, SF-2020/2120/2220/2320

2.General: An increase in the metal patterns was carried out in accordance with an expansion in

overseas production of the developing unit, but there were some problems with
interface incompatibility between one of the new metal patterns (metal pattern No. 2)
and a portion of the machine due to differences in the metal patterns. As a measure to
alleviate these problems, a portion of the ribs in the developing box have been cut, and
the "AG seal 2" has been discontinued. Furthermore, as a measure to prevent problems
of confusion during service operations in the markets, the same action has been carried
out on the metal pattern currently in use (metal pattern No. 1).

3.Description: Changes have been carried out in the portions of the developing box described below.

<1> The "AG seal 2" (PSEL-0670FCZZ) has been discontinued.
<2> A change has been carried out in the shape of the R side of the developing box

(only for metal pattern No. 2).

<3> The addition of an inscribed numeral "2" has been carried out to the F side of the

developing box as a measure to distinguish it from metal pattern No. 1
(only for metal pattern No. 2).

In accordance with the change described above a
change has also been carried out in the part code.
