RELEASE OF A NEW PROGRAM ROM TO RECTIFY
INCORRECT LENS MOTOR MOVEMENT AND
OCCURRENCE OF AN L5 TROUBLE
1.General: Owing to a program bug, the lens motor fails to operation that is not correct to the zoom
ratio shown and an L5 trouble may occur. To get rid of these bugs, the new program
ROM is now released.
2.Phenomenon: If the CA key (all clear) is pushed after pressing the ZOOM key (reduce or enlarge)
once after the zoom has been set to 0.64, the lens motor fails to function. This causes
the display to prompt a wrong ratio. If this action was repeated, the L5 trouble might be
evoked. This trouble would not occur using the fixed zoom key.
3.Description: The software bug is corrected to get rid of it. This software correction involves a change
in the parts code of the ROM, and a change is also met for the color of the ROM label.
