The Big News

Sharp has streamlined the R-1500 and R-1501; these
microwaves have clean lines and larger cooking capacities.They
each offer 1.5 cubic feet of cooking space,and each includes a
14 1/8" Sharp Carousel

®

turntable—the largest turntable of
any micro wave in its class.And with 1000 watts of power,these
microwave ovens are as powerful as they are space-conscious!

The Sharp R-1500 and R-1501 microwa v e ovens not only sa v e
counter space—but they also make cooking simple. Consider
Sharp’s Auto-Touch

®

Control Panel. It’s located behind the
oven’s door—easily reached,but not always seen.And it’s home
to a host of one-touch options,allowing for the quick selection
of precise cooking times and power levels. The Cook Center
includes six Instant Action

™

keys that make microwave
cooking easy—users touch a key once for each serving (up to
six). It couldn’t be easier! Sharp’s Reheat Center makes it
simple to heat common foods like pizza and muffins;and the
Defrost Center automatically gauges defrosting times for meats
and poultry by weight, assuring quick and even results. And
both the R-1500 and R-1501 offer automatic settings for
popular items like popcorn and “hot water.” They’re also
programmable for three different cooking stages,and they have
11 Variable Power Levels that let users vary cooking speed for
all types of foods.

Sharp has also included a number of its other user-friendly
extras,like Minute Plus

™

for setting the ov en with a single touch,
a Kitchen Timer for monitoring cooking or household tasks,and
a Child Lock for preventing usage by children or other
“unauthorized cooks.”
