Sharp thin-ﬁ lm modules with microamorphous tandem structure are optimised to provide the highest possible energy yields both at high temperatures and in diffuse light conditions. For your safety, each module is tested optically, mechanically and electrically. At the end of this extensive series of tests, each Sharp module is labelled with an individual serial number.

Sharp underlines its claim to top quality with a 5-year product guarantee and, in addition, a 10 or 25-year performance guarantee. You claim these guarantees when you register your modules.

Easy, convenient, safe and vital

How to register your modules

Modules can be registered either by the plant operator or the installer / distributor / system integrator. To register the modules, you need the serial numbers or pallet numbers of your Sharp modules or the original Sharp order number and delivery advice note number.

For particularly fast, easy registration, we recommend convenient, secure access via www.brandaddedvalue.net. If you do not have an internet connection, you can also register by post.

However, in this case you must send the completed registration form (pages

9 and 10) to our service partner, Brand Added Value AG. After successful registration the plant operator then receives the Sharp guarantee certiﬁ cate.

Your registration options

There are two ways to register the modules:

A. Provide the serial number or pallet number

You can ﬁ nd the serial numbers on the front and rear sides of the modules and on the packaging. A complete pallet can be identiﬁ ed from the original foil wrapping which also contains the pallet number.

Complete pallets (36 modules) include an original Sharp advice note on which all 36 individual serial numbers are noted. In the case of complete

pallets it sufﬁ ces to enter the pallet number, as the system automatically allocates all corresponding module serial numbers based on the pallet number. In the case of partly ﬁ lled pallets the module serial numbers must be entered individually.

B. Enter the original Sharp delivery advice note and order numbers In the case of direct deliveries from Sharp, e. g. for large PV projects or the PV-KIT, it sufﬁ ces to enter the original Sharp order and delivery advice note numbers to conveniently register all supplied modules. Please note: this registration procedure is only possible if the complete delivery can be allocated to a single PV plant or site.

A. Enter the serial number or pallet number

Example: you receive three complete pallets, each containing 36 modules (total of 108 modules) and a partly  lled pallet with a total of eight modules. To register all 116 modules, you only need the three pallet numbers of the complete pallets and the eight module serial numbers of the partly  lled pallets.

B. Enter the original Sharp delivery advice note and order numbers

For convenient registration of complete deliveries, go to the website www.brandaddedvalue.net, select the manufacturer (Sharp Solar) “Kit Registration using Order Number” and “Project Registration using Order Number” menu options and follow the navigation sequence.

4. Plant location and completion

If the delivery address of your PV system is different from the invoice address, activate “Complete Registration” to complete the registration. After successful registration you will immediately receive a conﬁ rmation e-mail and the original guarantee certiﬁ cate from Sharp by post.

2. Commissioning date and registration procedure

First select “Sharp Solar” as manufacturer and enter the commissioning date of your PV plant. To register by serial number or pallet number, please click the corresponding menu option. Next enter the name and address of your installer.

To register, log in to www.brandaddedvalue.net as “Operator” and create an account with your personal details. To create an account, enter your personal details and click “save”. Once you have successfully registered, you will receive an email to activate your user account. You can then commence registration.

3. Product selection

Under product group, please select “Thin-ﬁ lm”, followed by your module types and the quantity, and click “Insert”. Then enter the pallet and / or serial number.

4. Completion

Click “Complete Registration” to complete the registration. Please print out the records as documentary proof and apply the signatures as conﬁ rmation. Subject to checking, the plant operator then receives its Sharp guarantee certiﬁ cate by post.

If you did not install the equipment yourself, please enter details of the installer here. Then enter the invoice address of the plant operator and the installation location, if this is different to the invoice address; activate “click here for different location of PV system”.

Terms and conditions of guarantee for Sharp NA series photovoltaic modules

(valid for the above mentioned Sharp photovoltaic modules purchased since 01. August 2009)

IMPORTANT: Claims pursuant to these terms and conditions of guarantee can only be asserted if you or your installer has applied for registration for a guarantee on Sharp NA-series photovoltaic modules for your photovoltaic system (either via module passport – enclosed with the pallets – or via online registration to www.brandaddedvalue.net). The registration must be received by Sharp within a period of 12 weeks from initial commissioning of the photovoltaic system. In the event of failure to register within the 12-week period, no guarantee claims will be allowed.

Dear Sharp customer, Each Sharp photovoltaic module purchased (later called the “product” or the “module”) by you has been carefully manufactured and its functional ability tested in a ﬁnal inspection. Should a photovoltaic module nevertheless at any time exhibit a defect

in material and/or workmanship or a loss of output within the guarantee period, you can under the following conditions, and in addition to your statutory rights as a purchaser, claim against Sharp Electronics (Europe) GmbH under the product guarantee

(A) or under the respective output guarantee (B I or B II) that is applicable to you.

This Certicate of Guarantee applies only to modules that Sharp Electronics (Europe) GmbH has placed on the European market or exported to Israel or Turkey. Should you be unsure in this respect, please contact your dealer.

A: Product Guarantee (applicable worldwide)

1) Scope of the product guarantee

If a manufacturing defect in material and workmanship (hereinafter ‘defect’) becomes apparent within 60 months from the date of purchase as set out below, you can claim under this product guarantee. This product guarantee is limited to the following

components: frames, glass, cells, module cable including plug connectors, junction box and ﬁlm. This guarantee does not cover defects that are caused by improper handling, product changes, installation, operational errors or the actions of third parties.

The guarantee period of 60 months begins on the day on which the module was rst purchased by you, the end user, from Sharp or from a dealer. In the event of a change of owner of the registered modules, new registration is required. Neither the new

registration nor the execution of guarantee services will result in any extension of the original guarantee period.

2) Guarantee service

Sharp Electronics (Europe) GmbH shall full its guarantee obligation by, at its option, either repairing the defective module free of charge or replacing it with a comparable module free of defects. If the type of module which is subject of the guarantee

claim is not manufactured anymore, an actual and technically compatible standard type is delivered as substitute module. Any installation/dismantling costs that accrue shall not be borne by Sharp.

B I: Output guarantee (applicable in the EU, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Iceland, Israel, Liechtenstein, Macedonia, Montenegro, Norway, Serbia, Switzerland and Turkey)

The following output guarantee applies exclusively to output losses (i.e. degradation of the cells resulting in power loss) and not to any other defects in the modules.

1) Scope of the 25 years output guarantee

a) If, within a period of ten (10) years, the output of the module drops to less than 90 % of the minimum output specied in the technical datasheet then Sharp will, at its own option, either compensate for the loss of output by supplying additional modules or by repairing or replacing the defective module, or reimburse the amount of the purchase price taking into consideration an annual depreciation of 4 % of the original purchase price. b) If, within a period of fteen (15) years following the period under B I 1) a), the output of the module is less than 80 % of the minimum output specied in the technical datasheet then Sharp will, at its own option, either compensate for the loss of output by supplying additional modules or by repairing or replacing the defective module, or reimburse the amount of the purchase price taking into consideration an annual depreciation of 4 % of the original purchase price.

c) The guarantee period begins on the day on which the module was ﬁrst purchased by end user from Sharp or from a dealer. In the event of a change of owner of the registered modules, new registration is required. Neither the new registration nor the execution of guarantee services will result in any extension of the original guarantee period. d) Sharp is obliged to fulﬁl its output guarantee obligations only in case the examination of the module output has showed that the output losses of the module are based on a degradation/output loss of the cells. The examination of the module output is conducted under the following conditions: Cell temperature 25 degrees Celsius; 1000 W / m

2) Limitation to the output guarantee

The output guarantee does not cover output losses that are caused by improper handling, operational errors or the actions of third parties. Sharp shall not bear the costs for dismantling, reinstallation and inspection by the customer nor shall it bear any other indirect costs. The output guarantee does not cover as well compensation for low energy yield or lost proﬁts from sale of energy, which were caused by output losses of the module or the execution of guarantee services.

B II: Output guarantee (applicable outside of the EU, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Iceland, Israel, Liechtenstein, Macedonia, Montenegro, Norway, Serbia, Switzerland and Turkey)

The following output guarantee applies exclusively to output losses (i.e. degradation of the cells resulting in power loss) and not to any other defects in the modules.

1) Scope of the 10 years output guarantee

a) If, within a period of ten (10) years, the output of the module is less than 80 % of the minimum output specied in the technical datasheet then Sharp will, at its own option, either compensate for the loss of output by supplying additional modules or by repairing or replacing the defective module, or reimburse the amount of the purchase price taking into consideration an annual depreciation of 4 % of the original purchase price.

b) The guarantee period begins on the day on which the module was ﬁrst purchased by the end user, from Sharp or from a dealer. In the event of a change of owner of the registered modules, new registration is required. Neither the new registration nor the execution of guarantee services will result in any extension of the original guarantee period. c) Sharp is obliged to fulﬁl its output guarantee obligations only in case the examination of the module output has showed that the output losses of the module are based on a degradation/output loss of the cells. The examination of the module output is conducted under the following conditions: Cell temperature 25 degrees Celsius; 1000 W / m

C: Exclusions

This product and output guarantee does not cover output loss and/or other defects that are caused by:

- defective system parts, supporting structures including ﬁxing elements, system components such as inverters, generator connecting or string cables and string diodes;

- installation by persons who, in the reasonable opinion of Sharp, are not qualiﬁed or competent for the task;

- connecting the Sharp modules to a technically incompatible type of modules;

- incorrect system design, conﬁguration and type of installation;

- incorrect wiring/installation work and incorrect handling during such work;

- failure to observe the applicable installation instruction (the applicable installation manual is attached to the module or will be provided to you by the dealer);

- operating the system under unsuitable ambient conditions or by using unsuitable methods that deviate from the product speciﬁcations, operating instructions or nameplate information;

- unsuitable maintenance and unsuitable tests, glass breaking due to external inuences, ying objects or external loads as well as vandalism and theft;

- damage caused by external factors, such as dirt on the front glass, soiling, smoke, salt, chemicals, pollution or similar;

- paint or cleaning detergents applied to the modules;

- the use on mobile units such as vehicles and ships;

- event beyond our reasonable control (such as earthquakes, hurricanes, cyclones, volcano eruptions, ooding, lightning, indirect lighting strikes, snow damage, avalanches, frost damage, landslides, plagues of insects)

or other unforeseeable circumstances.

The output and product guarantee shall also be not applicable in the following cases:

- removal or manipulation of the nameplate on the back-side of the module;

- application or attachment of marks, signs, inscriptions or stickers on the foil on the back-side of the module without Sharp’s express approval.

D: Claiming under the product or output guarantees

Claims pursuant to these terms and conditions of guarantee can only be asserted if you or your installer has applied for registration for a guarantee on Sharp NA-series photovoltaic modules for your photovoltaic system (either via module passport – enclosed with the pallets – or via online registration to www.brandaddedvalue.net). The registration must be received by Sharp within a period of 12 weeks from initial commissioning of the photovoltaic system. In the event of failure to register within the 12-week period, no guarantee claims will be allowed. In order to bring a claim under the product or output guarantees, you will need to submit a written description of the defect and attach the registration number of the guaranty certiﬁcate, the invoice which provides the purchase date, the model description and the serial number of the module (see nameplate). Claims should be sent to:

Claims in regard of the product or output failure of the module according to this product or output guarantee will be time barred within 6 months after discovery of the product or output failure.

No returns of modules, defective or otherwise, will be accepted without prior written authorisation of Sharp Electronics (Europe) GmbH.

F: Choice of law, place of jurisdiction

1) Choice of law: This guarantee is governed by German law. International private law is excluded. This does not apply to consumers, as far as this guarantee falls below mandatory national consumer protection regulations. In this case the law which is

more beneﬁcial for the consumer shall apply.

2) Place of jurisdiction: Hamburg (Germany) shall be the exclusive place of jurisdiction for merchants and legal entities of public law.

Die Registrierung muss innerhalb einer Frist von 12 Wochen nach Erstinbetriebnahme der Photovoltaikanlage bei der Brand Added Value AG eingegangen sein. Ohne fristgerechte Registrierung ist eine Inanspruchnahme der Garantieleistungen nicht möglich. Einzelheiten dazu sind in den Garantiebedingungen festgelegt.

So registrieren Sie Module

Die Registrierung der Module kann entweder durch den Anlagenbetreiber oder durch den Installateur / Großhändler / Systemintegrator erfolgen. Für die Registrierung der Module benötigen Sie die Serien- bzw. Palettennummern Ihrer Sharp Module oder die original Sharp Auftrags- und Liefer scheinnummer.

Für eine besonders einfache und schnelle Registrierung empfehlen wir den komfortablen und sicheren Onlinezugang auf www.brandaddedvalue.net. Wenn Sie nicht über eine Onlineverbindung verfügen, können Sie die Registrierung auch auf dem Postweg vornehmen. Nur in diesem Fall müssen Sie

das komplett ausgefüllte Registrierungsformular (Seiten 17 und 18) unserem

Servicepartner, der Brand Added Value AG, zusenden. Nach erfolgreicher Registrierung erhält der Anlagenbetreiber dann das Sharp Garantiezertiﬁ kat.

Ihre Registrierungsmöglichkeiten

Es gibt zwei Möglichkeiten, die Module zu registrieren:

A. Eingabe der Serien- bzw. Palettennummer

Die Seriennummern ﬁ nden Sie auf der Vorder- und Rückseite der Module und auf der Verpackung. Eine vollständige Palette ist an der original Folieneinwicklung erkennbar, an der sich auch die Palettennummer beﬁ ndet.

Vollständigen Paletten (36 Module) liegt ein original Sharp Begleitschein bei, auf dem alle 36 einzelnen Seriennummern vermerkt sind. Bei vollstän-

digen Paletten reicht die Eingabe der Palettennummern, da über die Palettennummer alle entsprechenden Modul-Seriennummern automatisch vom System zugeordnet werden. Bei angebrochenen Paletten müssen die Seriennummern der Module einzeln eingegeben werden.

B. Eingabe der original Sharp Lieferschein- und Auftragsnummer Bei Direktlieferungen von Sharp, z. B. bei großen PV-Projekten oder dem PV-KIT, reicht die Eingabe der original Sharp Auftrags- und Lieferscheinnummer zur bequemen Registrierung aller verbauten Module. Achtung! Dieses Registrierungsverfahren ist nur möglich, wenn die komplette Lieferung einer einzigen PV-Anlage / Baustelle zugeordnet werden kann.

3. Produktauswahl

Bitte wählen Sie als Warengruppe „Dünnschicht“ und anschließend Ihren Modultypen sowie die Stückzahl aus, und klicken Sie auf „Einfügen“. Tragen Sie dann die Paletten- und / oder Seriennummern ein.

2. Inbetriebnahmedaten und Registrierverfahren

Wählen Sie zuerst als Hersteller „Sharp Solar“

aus, und geben Sie dann das Inbetriebnahmedatum Ihrer PV-Anlage an. Zur Registrierung per Serienoder Palettennummer klicken Sie bitte den entsprechenden Menüpunkt an. Abschließend geben Sie bitte Namen und Anschrift Ihres Installateurs ein.

A. Eingabe der Serien- bzw. Palettennummer

Beispiel: Sie erhalten drei vollständige Paletten mit jeweils 36 Modulen (insgesamt 108 Module) sowie eine angebrochene Palette mit insgesamt acht Modulen. In diesem Beispiel benötigen Sie zur Registrierung aller 116 Module nur die drei Palettennummern der voll-

ständigen Paletten sowie die acht Modul-Seriennummern von der angebrochenen Palette.

B. Eingabe der original Sharp Lieferschein- und Auftragsnummer Wählen Sie zur bequemen Registrierung kompletter Lieferungen auf www.brandaddedvalue.net nach Auswahl des Herstellers „Sharp Solar“ aus den Menüpunkten „KIT-Registrierung unter Verwendung der Auftragsnummer“ und „Projekt-Registrierung unter Verwendung der Auftragsnummer“ aus, und folgen Sie der Registrierungsnavigation.

3. Produktauswahl

Bitte wählen Sie als Warengruppe „Dünnschicht“ und anschließend Ihren Modultypen sowie die Stückzahl aus, und klicken Sie auf „Einfügen“. Tragen Sie dann die Paletten- und / oder Seriennummern ein.

4. Anlagenstandort und Abschluss

Falls der Anlagenstandort Ihrer PV-Anlage von der Rechnungsadresse abweicht, aktivieren Sie „Abweichender Anlagenstandort hier klicken“ und geben die Adresse ein. Zum Abschluss der Registrierung klicken Sie auf „Registrierung abschließen“. Nach erfolgreicher Registrierung erhalten Sie direkt eine Bestätigungs-E-Mail und per Post das original Garantiezertiﬁ kat von Sharp.

Nach erfolgreicher Anmeldung erhalten Sie eine E-Mail zur Freischaltung Ihres Accounts. Danach können Sie mit der Registrierung beginnen.

Bitte wählen Sie Modultyp und -anzahl aus, geben Sie das Inbetriebnahmedatum an, und klicken Sie auf „Einfügen“. Tragen Sie dann die Paletten- und / oder Seriennummern ein.

2. Angabe des Installateurs / Kunden

Sofern Sie die Anlage nicht selbst installiert haben, geben Sie bitte hier den ausführenden Installateur an. Tragen Sie anschließend die Rechnungsanschrift des Anlagenbetreibers sowie den Anlagenstandort ein, falls dieser von der Rechnungsadresse abweicht; dafür „Abweichender Anlagenstandort hier klicken“ aktivieren.

B. Garantiebedingungen für Photovoltaikmodule der NA-Serie

(gültig für o.g. Sharp Photovoltaikmodule, die ab 1. August 2009 von Ihnen gekauft worden sind)

WICHTIG: Ansprüche aus diesen Garantiebedingungen können nur geltend gemacht werden, wenn Sie für Ihre Photovoltaik-Anlage die Registrierung für Garantieleistungen für Sharp Photovoltaikmodule der NA-Serie (entweder via Modul-Pass – liegt den Paletten bei – oder per Online-Registrierung auf www.brandaddedvalue.net) beantragt haben bzw. durch Ihren Installateur haben beantragen lassen. Die Registrierung muss binnen einer Frist von 12 Wochen nach Erstinbetriebnahme der Photovoltaikanlage bei Sharp eingegangen sein. Ohne Registrierung innerhalb der 12-Wochenfrist ist eine Inanspruchnahme der Garantieleistungen nicht möglich.

Sehr geehrte Sharp Kundin, sehr geehrter Sharp Kunde, das/die von Ihnen gekaufte(n) Sharp Photovoltaikmodul(e) wurde(n) sorgfältig hergestellt und dessen/deren Funktionsfähigkeit einer Endkontrolle unterzogen. Sollte ein Photovoltaikmodul dennoch einmal einen Material- und /oder Verarbeitungsmangel

oder einen Leistungsverlust innerhalb der Garantiezeit aufweisen, können Sie zusätzlich zu den gesetzlichen Gewährleistungsansprüchen, die Ihnen gegen Ihren Verkäufer zustehen, Sharp Electronics (Europe) GmbH aus der Produktgarantie (A) oder aus

der für Sie anwendbaren Leistungsgarantie (B I oder B II) unter den nachfolgenden Bedingungen in Anspruch nehmen.

Diese Garantie gilt nur für Module, die durch die Sharp Electronics (Europe) GmbH in Europa in Verkehr gebracht bzw. nach Israel und die Türkei exportiert wurden. Bei diesbezüglichen Zweifeln wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Verkäufer.

Abschnitt A: Produktgarantie (Nutzung weltweit)

1) Umfang der Produktgarantie

Wenn ein herstellungsbedingter Material- und/oder Verarbeitungsmangel (nachfolgend „Mangel“) innerhalb von 60 Monaten an dem Modul auftritt, können Sie unsere Garantieleistung in Anspruch nehmen. Die Produktgarantie ist beschränkt auf

folgende Bauteile: Rahmen, Glas, Zellen, Modulkabel inkl. Stecker, Anschlussbox und Folie. Die Garantie umfasst nicht Mängel, die durch unsachgemäße Behandlung, Produktveränderungen, Einbau, Bedienungsfehler oder durch Fremdeinwirkung entstanden sind.

Die Garantiefrist von 60 Monaten beginnt mit dem Tag, an dem Sie das Modul von Sharp oder einem Händler gekauft haben. Bei Eigentümerwechsel der registrierten Module ist eine Neuregistrierung durchzuführen. Die Neuregistrierung verlängert

ebenso wenig die Garantiefrist wie die Erbringung von Garantieleistungen.

2) Garantieleistung

Sharp Electronics (Europe) GmbH erfüllt ihre Garantieverpichtung für Mängel nach ihrer Wahl durch kostenlose Reparatur oder durch Austausch des mangelhaften Moduls gegen ein vergleichbares mangelfreies Modul. Wird der Modultyp, der Gegenstand der Garantieleistung ist, nicht mehr serienmäßig hergestellt, wird als Ersatzmodul ein aktueller und technisch kompatibler Standardtyp geliefert. Etwa anfallende Ein-/Ausbaukosten werden von Sharp nicht übernommen.

Abschnitt B I: Leistungsgarantie (Nutzung innerhalb der EU, Albanien, Bosnien und Herzegowina, Kroatien, Island, Israel, Liechtenstein, Mazedonien, Montenegro, Norwegen, Serbien, Schweiz und Türkei)

Die nachfolgende Leistungsgarantie gilt ausschließlich für Leistungsverluste (Degradation) der Zellen und nicht für sonstige Mängel an den Modulen.

1) Umfang der 25-jährigen Leistungsgarantie

a) Wenn die Leistung eines Moduls innerhalb einer Frist von zehn (10) Jahren ab Beginn der Garantiefrist 90 % der im technischen Datenblatt spezizierten Minimalleistung unterschreitet, wird Sharp nach eigener Wahl die fehlende Leistung entweder durch Lieferung zusätzlicher Module ersetzen oder durch Reparatur oder Ersatz des Moduls ausgleichen oder den Kaufpreis des Moduls unter Berücksichtigung einer jährlichen Abschreibung von 4 % vom ursprünglichen Kaufpreis zurückerstatten. b) Wenn die Leistung des Moduls innerhalb der sich an die Frist nach lit. a) anschließenden 15-Jahre 80 % der im technischen Datenblatt spezizierten Minimalleistung unterschreitet, wird Sharp nach eigener Wahl die fehlende Leistung entweder durch Lieferung zusätzlicher Module ersetzen oder durch Reparatur oder Ersatz des Moduls ausgleichen oder den Kaufpreis des Moduls unter Berücksichtigung einer jährlichen Abschreibung von 4% vom ursprünglichen Kaufpreis zurückerstatten. c) Die Garantiefrist beginnt mit dem Tag an dem der Endbenutzer das Modul von Sharp oder einem Händler gekauft hat. Bei Eigentümerwechsel der registrierten Module ist eine Neuregistrierung durchzuführen. Die Neuregistrierung verlängert ebenso

wenig die Garantiefrist wie die Erbringung von Garantieleistungen.

d) Sharp ist zur Erfüllung dieser Leistungsgarantie nur verpichtet, wenn eine Leistungsprüfung ergeben hat, dass die Leistungsverluste des Moduls auf eine Degradation/Leistungsabnahme der Zellen zurückzuführen ist. Die Leistungsüberprüfung der Module erfolgt unter folgenden Bedingungen: Zellentemperatur 25 Grad Celsius; Strahlungsleistung 1000 W/m² mit AM-1.5 Spektrum, auf einem von Sharp kalibriertem System (nach IEC 60904).

2) Begrenzung der Leistungsgarantie

Diese Leistungsgarantie umfasst nicht Leistungsverluste, die durch unsachgemäße Behandlung, Bedienungsfehler oder durch Fremdeinwirkung entstanden sind. Anfallende Kosten für Ausbau, erneuten Einbau und kundenseitige Untersuchung sowie andere indirekte Kosten werden von Sharp nicht übernommen. Von der Garantie nicht umfasst ist ferner der Ersatz für einen geringeren Stromertrag oder entgangenen Gewinn aus Stromverkäufen, der durch den Leistungsmangel eines Moduls oder die Durchführung von Garantieleistungen verursacht ist.

Abschnitt B II: Leistungsgarantie (Nutzung außerhalb der EU, Albanien, Bosnien und Herzegowina, Kroatien, Island, Israel, Liechtenstein, Mazedonien, Montenegro, Norwegen, Serbien, Schweiz und Türkei)

Die nachfolgende Leistungsgarantie gilt ausschließlich für Leistungsverluste (Degradation) der Zellen und nicht für sonstige Mängel an den Modulen.

1) Umfang der 10-jährigen Leistungsgarantie

a) Wenn die Leistung eines Moduls innerhalb einer Frist von zehn (10) Jahren ab Beginn der Garantiefrist 80 % der im technischen Datenblatt spezizierten Minimalleistung unterschreitet, wird Sharp nach eigener Wahl die fehlende Leistung entweder durch Lieferung zusätzlicher Module ersetzen oder durch Reparatur oder Ersatz des Moduls ausgleichen oder den Kaufpreis des Moduls unter Berücksichtigung einer jährlichen Abschreibung von 4 % vom ursprünglichen Kaufpreis zurückerstatten. b) Die Garantiefrist beginnt mit dem Tag an dem der Endbenutzer das Modul von Sharp oder einem Händler gekauft hat. Bei Eigentümerwechsel der registrierten Module ist eine Neuregistrierung durchzuführen. Die Neuregistrierung verlängert ebenso

wenig die Garantiefrist wie die Erbringung von Garantieleistungen.

c) Sharp ist zur Erfüllung dieser Leistungsgarantie nur verpichtet, wenn eine Leistungsprüfung ergeben hat, dass die Leistungsverluste des Moduls auf eine Degradation/Leistungsabnahme der Zellen zurückzuführen ist. Die Leistungsüberprüfung der Module erfolgt unter folgenden Bedingungen: Zellentemperatur 25 Grad Celsius; Strahlungsleistung 1000 W/m² mit AM-1.5 Spektrum, auf einem von Sharp kalibriertem System (nach IEC 60904).

2) Begrenzung der Leistungsgarantie

Diese Leistungsgarantie umfasst nicht Leistungsverluste, die durch unsachgemäße Behandlung, Bedienungsfehler oder durch Fremdeinwirkung entstanden sind. Anfallende Kosten für Ausbau, erneuten Einbau und kundenseitige Untersuchung sowie andere indirekte Kosten werden von Sharp nicht übernommen. Von der Garantie nicht umfasst ist ferner der Ersatz für einen geringeren Stromertrag oder entgangenen Gewinn aus Stromverkäufen, der durch den Leistungsmangel eines Moduls oder die Durchführung von Garantieleistungen verursacht ist.

Abschnitt C: Ausschluss der Leistungs- und Produktgarantie

Die Leistungs- und Produktgarantie umfasst insbesondere keine Leistungsverluste und / oder sonstige Mängel, die

- durch fehlerhafte Anlagenteile, Trägerkonstruktionen einschließlich Befestigungselementen, Systemkomponenten wie Wechselrichter, Generatoranschlusskabel/Strangkabel oder Strangdioden

- durch Installation durch fachunkundige und ungeschulte Personen;

- durch Verkopplung von Sharp Modulen mit nicht kompatiblen Modulen;

- durch mangelhafte Systemauslegung, Systemkonﬁguration und Montageart;

- durch fehlerhafte Verdrahtungs-/Installationsarbeiten oder durch fehlerhafte Handhabung während solcher Arbeiten;

- durch Nichtbeachtung der geltenden Montageanleitung (diese liegt den Modulen bei oder wird Ihnen von Ihrem Händler zur Verfügung gestellt);

- durch den Betrieb unter ungeeigneten Umgebungsbedingungen oder durch ungeeignete Methoden abweichend von den Produktspeziﬁkationen, Betriebsanleitungen oder Typenschildangaben;

- durch ungeeignete Wartung und ungeeignete Tests, Glasbruch wegen äußerer Einwirkung, iegende Objekte oder äußere Beanspruchung sowie Vandalismus und Diebstahl;

- durch Einüsse wie Schmutz auf dem Frontglas, Verunreinigung oder Beschädigung durch Rauch, Salz, Chemikalien oder andere Verschmutzung;

- durch auf die Module aufgetragene Lacke oder Reinigungsmittel;

- durch die Benutzung auf mobilen Einheiten wie Fahrzeugen und Schiffen,

- durch Naturgewalten (Erdbeben, Orkane, Wirbelstürme, Vulkanausbrüche, Überschwemmung, Blitzschlag, indirekter Blitzschlag, Schneeschaden, Lawinen, Frosteinwirkung, Erdrutsch, Insektenplagen) oder andere unvorhersehbare Umstände verursacht worden sind. Die Leistungs- und Produktgarantie ﬁndet ebenfalls keine Anwendung bei

- Entfernung oder Manipulation des rückseitigen Typenschildes;

- Aufbringen von Aufschriften oder Aufklebern auf die Rückseitenfolie ohne Genehmigung von Sharp.

Abschnitt D: Geltendmachung der Produkt- oder Leistungsgarantie

Ansprüche aus diesen Garantiebedingungen können nur geltend gemacht werden, wenn Sie für Ihre Photovoltaik-Anlage die Registrierung für Garantieleistungen für Sharp Photovoltaikmodule der NA-Serie (entweder via Modul-Pass – liegt den Paletten bei – oder per Online-Registrierung auf www.brandaddedvalue.net) beantragt haben bzw. durch Ihren Installateur haben beantragen lassen. Die Registrierung muss binnen einer Frist von 12 Wochen nach Erstinbetriebnahme der Photovoltaikanlage bei Sharp eingegangen sein. Ohne Registrierung innerhalb der 12- Wochenfrist ist eine Inanspruchnahme der Garantieleistungen nicht möglich. Um die Produkt- oder Leistungsgarantie in Anspruch nehmen zu können, benötigen wir von Ihnen die Registrierungsnummer des Garantiezertiﬁkats, die Rechnung, aus der sich das Kaufdatum, die Modellbezeichnung und die Seriennummer des Moduls (siehe Typenschild) ergeben sowie Angaben zum Zeitpunkt der Entdeckung des Produktmangels oder des Leistungsverlustes. Die Ansprüche wegen Produktoder Leistungsmangels aus dieser Garantie können Sie nur schriftlich gegenüber der

Ansprüche wegen eines Beschaffenheits- oder eines Leistungsmangels des Moduls im Sinne der Produkt- oder Leistungsgarantie verjähren innerhalb von sechs Monaten ab Entdeckung des Mangels oder des Leistungsverlustes.

Die Sharp Electronics (Europe) GmbH akzeptiert keine Rücksendungen von Modulen ohne vorherige schriftliche Aufforderung hierzu.

L’enregistrement des modules peut être effectué soit par l‘exploitant de l‘installation, soit par l‘installateur / le concessionnaire / l‘intégrateur du système. Pour enregistrer les modules, vous avez besoin du numéro de série ou de palette de vos modules Sharp ou des numéros de la commande et du bordereau de livraison d‘origine. Pour un enregistrement particulièrement simple et rapide, nous vous recommandons d’utiliser l‘accès en ligne, pratique et sûr, à l’adresse www.brandaddedvalue.net. Si vous ne disposez pas d‘une connexion Internet, vous pouvez également procéder à l‘enregistrement par voie postale. Dans ce cas, et uniquement dans ce cas, vous devez adresser le formulaire d‘enregistrement in-

tégralement rempli (pages 25 et 26) à notre partenaire de maintenance, la société

Brand Added Value AG. Une fois que l’enregistrement a bien été effectué, l’exploitant de l’installation reçoit alors le Certiﬁ cat de garantie Sharp. Vos possibilités d’enregistrement

Pour enregistrer les modules, vous avez deux possibilités :

A. En saisissant le numéro de série ou le numéro de palette

Vous trouverez les numéros de série sur la face avant et la face arrière des modules, ainsi que sur l‘emballage. Une palette complète est toujours pourvue d’un ﬁ lm d’origine qui l‘enveloppe et sur lequel ﬁ gure également le numéro de palette.

Un bordereau d‘accompagnement Sharp d’origine, sur lequel les 36 numéros de série sont tous notés individuellement, est joint aux palettes complètes (36 mo-

dules). Avec des palettes complètes, il sufﬁ t de saisir le numéro de la palette, car le système se sert du numéro de palette pour affecter automatiquement tous les numéros de série des modules correspondants. En cas de palette partielle, il faut saisir individuellement les numéros de série des modules.

B. En saisissant le numéro d’origine du bordereau de livraison Sharp et de la commande

S’il s’agit de livraisons effectuées directement par Sharp, par ex. dans le cadre de projets photovoltaïques de grande ampleur ou du PV-KIT, il sufﬁ t de saisir le numéro d’origine de la commande et du bordereau de livraison Sharp pour enregistrer très facilement tous les modules faisant partie de l‘ensemble. Attention ! Cette procédure d’enregistrement peut seulement être utilisée lorsque la totalité de la livraison peut être affectée à une installation photovoltaïque ou à un chantier unique.

Exemple : vous recevez trois palettes complètes contenant chacune 36 modules (soit au total 108 modules), ainsi qu‘une palette partielle contenant au total huit modules. Dans cet exemple, tout ce qu’il vous faut pour enregistrer l’ensemble des 116 modules, ce sont seulement

les trois numéros de palette des palettes complètes, et les huit numéros de série des modules qui font partie de la palette partielle.

B. En saisissant le numéro d’origine du bordereau de livraison Sharp et de la commande

Pour enregistrer très facilement des livraisons complètes sur www.brandaddedvalue.net – après avoir sélectionné le fabricant (Sharp Solar) – sélectionnez les rubriques de menu suivantes « Enregistrement de kits en utilisant le numéro de commande » et « Enregistrement de projets en utilisant le numéro de commande », et laissez-vous guider par les instructions d‘enregistrement.

4. Site d‘installation et ﬁ nalisation

Si le site d’installation de votre installation photovoltaïque diffère de votre adresse de facturation, veuillez activer « site d’installation différent cliquez ici » et saisissez l’adresse. Pour terminer l’enregistrement, cliquez sur « Terminer l’enregistrement ». Après avoir effectué l’enregistrement avec succès, vous recevrez directement un courriel de conﬁ rmation. Le Certiﬁ cat de Garantie authentique de Sharp vous parviendra par la poste.

3. Sélection du produit

Dans la partie « Groupe de marchandises », veuillez saisir « Couche mince », et ensuite vos types de modules, ainsi que le nombre de pièces, et cliquez sur « Ajouter ». Saisissez ensuite les numéros de palette et / ou les numéros de série.

2. Données de mise en service et procédure d’enregistrement

Sélectionnez tout d’abord « Sharp Solar » en tant que fabricant et saisissez ensuite la date de mise en service de votre installation photovoltaïque. Pour procéder à l’enregistrement par numéros de série ou de palette, veuillez cliquer sur la rubrique correspondante dans le menu. Pour ﬁ nir, veuillez saisir le nom et l‘adresse de votre installateur.

Pour l’enregistrement, inscrivez-vous en tant que « Exploitant de l’installation » à l’adresse www.brandaddedvalue.net. Créez un compte avec vos données personnelles et cliquez sur « enregistrer ». Une fois connecté, vous recevrez un e-mail de validation pour pouvoir utiliser votre compte d’utilisateur. Vous pourrez ensuite démarrer votre enregistrement.

4. Validation

Pour valider l’enregistrement, veuillez cliquer sur « Effectuer l‘inscription ». Veuillez imprimer les documents et les signer en guise de conﬁ rmation. Après vériﬁ cation par Sharp, l’exploitant de l’installation recevra un certiﬁ cat de garantie par courrier.

3. Modules et mise en service

Veuillez sélectionner le type de module et la quantité, indiquez la date de mise en service puis cliquer sur « Ajouter ». Saisissez ensuite le numéro de la palette et / ou le numéro de série.

2. Données de l’installateur / du client

Si vous n’avez pas installé vous-même votre installation, veuillez saisir le nom de l’installateur qui s’en est chargé. Veuillez ensuite saisir l’adresse de facturation de l’exploitant de l’installation ainsi que le site d’installation, si celui-ci diffère de l’adresse de facturation, pour cela activez « site d’installation différent cliquer ici ».
