2. General: In order to improve the productivity, the following parts are changed.

3. Description: (1) Change of capacitors on the main PWB

2. Update of main control ROM version
1. Model Name: UX-3600M
2. General: In order to improve the following failures, the main ROM version is updated.
(1) When the ‘‘START’’, ‘‘STOP’’ and ‘‘START’’ keys are pressed within about 3 seconds without
setting documents in the external telephone off-hook state, fax transmission/reception is
not possible. In this case, cancellation is required by turning the power off. (All of the setting
contents, received data and registered numbers are deleted.)
(2) When a reservation of the sequential broadcasting service is performed during fax trans-
mission or in the external telephone off-hook state and its reservation is canceled by
pressing the STOP key until start of reserved job, the sequential broadcasting
service is not possible. In this case, cancellation is required by turning the power
off. (All of the setting contents, received data and registered numbers are deleted.)

(3) When connected to a specific equipment with a built-in DSU, if the handset of external
telephone is lifted, the line is not connected. (It is connected for a while, but it is disconnected
soon.)
(4) When connected to a specific equipment with a built-in DSU, if a answering machine is
connected, fax reception is not possible.
(5) When registering or canceling the timer, not 0147AM‘‘12:00’’ but ‘‘AM00:00’’ is indicated.
(6) The busy tone in England is not detected.
(7) The setting of silence detection level cannot be changed in detail.
(8) For some of parts in the SOFT SW list, ‘‘ * ’’ which is not indicated in the default state is
indicated.
(9) Receivable level in the answering connection setting mode is lower than that in the
auto/manual mode.
(10) The panel indication may fail to change while in the stand-by mode so that key operation
cannot be performed.
(11) Reading of documents is interrupted during fax transmission.
