Productive Copying with SOPM

With a continuous copy rate of 15 pages per minute

and a fast first copy time of 9.6 seconds (in normal

mode), the AR-5415/AR-153EN/AR-M155 can quickly

finish large tasks as well as short-run jobs.A Scan

Once/ Print Many function lets you scan a document

directly into the machine’s memory, from where up to

99 copies can be made. No longer do you have to wait

for your copying job to finish to retrieve your original

document.

Convenient Two-Way Paper Feed System

More paper capacity means less paper refills.The AR-5415/

AR-153EN/AR-M155 offers a convenient two-way paper

feed system consisting of a frontloading 250-sheet

paper tray and a single bypass feeder (AR-5415) and

multi bypass feeder (AR-153EN/AR-M155) both of

which can accept a range of paper sizes.

True 600 dpi Digital Laser Copying

The AR-5415/AR-153EN/AR-M155 laser copier engine

produces superb-looking documents at true 600 dpi

with 256-greyscale gradations. Fine text comes out

clear and legible, and details are faithfully reproduced,

even at the edges of copies.

Digital Automatic Exposure Control

To produce the best copies possible, Digital Auto

Exposure mode automatically adjusts darkness and

brightness levels, automatically distinguishing between

text and photos, to maintain optimum contrast and to

accurately reproduce fine details of the original

document. Exposure levels can also be adjusted

manually.

Digital Photo Mode

Digital Photo mode ensures quality reproduction of

photographs and halftone originals. Exposure levels

can be set manually to reproduce special shading

contrasts.

Wide Zoom Range

The AR-5415/AR-153EN/AR-M155 digital image pro-

cessing allows a wide zoom range from 25 to 400 %,

adjustable in 1% increments.

A variety of preset copy ratios are also available – all at

the touch of a button.

Space-Saving Interior Document Tray

The AR-5415/AR-153EN/AR-M155 maximises features

while taking up a small footprint. Its digital imaging

system saves space on the inside, which eliminates the

need for a protruding paper tray on the outside.

Instead, copies are output onto a tray below the platen.

Thanks to its flat sides and compact size, the AR-5415/

AR-153EN/AR-M155 can be placed where a

conventional copier could never go.

Energy-Efficient Design

To keep energy consumption to a minimum, the AR-5415/

AR-153EN/AR-M155 are equipped with two power

saving modes.Auto Power Shut-Off mode minimises

energy usage when the unit is not in use, and Pre-Heat

mode uses just enough electricity to warm the heat

roller.

Toner Save Mode

Toner Save mode conserves toner without sacrificing

copy quality.An excellent way to reduce operating costs.

Speedy Copying with SOPM and

Optional SPF (AR-153EN/AR-M155)

The optional Single Pass Feeder (SPF) can automatically

feed in and make copies from a stack of up to 30 single-

sided originals, eliminating the task of placing each page

by hand.

High-Performance Laser Printing

(AR-153EN /AR-M155)

With the Standard Printer and Scanner Board, the

AR-153EN/ AR-M155 can print from computers running

popular Windows® operating systems at a rapid

12 ppm (AR-153EN) and 15ppm (AR-M155). A number

of convenient printing functions are also available.

e.g. N-Up, Fit to Page or Watermark.

Full-Colour Scanning with Bundled

Software (AR-153EN/AR-M155)

The local Colour Scanner gives the AR-153EN/AR-M155

full-colour scanning capability, complete with powerful

utility software. Button Manager lets you scan docu-

ments directly into applications on your PC. Up to five

pre-registered applications are available, including

Sharpdesk™, e-mail, PC-fax,OCR and Microsoft® Word.

Operation is quick and easy – simply press the Scan

button, select an application from the scan menu and

press Start!

Sharpdesk™ desktop document management software

allows you to easily browse through, edit, sort and file

your scanned documents.

Full-Colour Scanning AR-153EN/AR-M155

Using a TWAIN-compliant driver, the AR-153EN/

AR-M155 lets you easily scan documents in 600

x 1200 dpi resolution. You can also scan

originals with uneven surfaces

Electronic Sorting and Offset Stacking
AR-M155

The Electronic Sorting function automatically

collates multiple sets of copies in page order

without the aid of a sorter. The AR-M155 also

stacks each set slightly shifted apart from the

previous (offset stacking) for easy retrieval.

High Performance Operation

High performance copying with 15cpm (all 3

models) and printing at 12ppm (AR-153EN)/

15ppm (AR-M155) respectively.Also the RIP

Once/Print Many (ROPM) function saves print

data in the internal memory and transfers it to

output at a quick rate.

Extensive Paper Capacity

The AR/ARM series comes with a standard 250-

sheet paper tray and single-bypass (AR-5415),

50-sheet multi-bypass feeder (AR-153EN/AR-M155).

An optional paper feed unit is also available

with a total paper capacity of 550 sheets for

AR-153EN and AR-M155.

Network Ready AR-M155

The optional AR-NB2 N Network Printing/

Scanning Expansion Kit transforms the AR-M155

into a convenient full-colour network scanner,

also supporting PCL and PostScript

Efficient Duplex Copying AR-M155 and
Optional SPF AR-153EN, RSPF AR-M155

The AR-M155 automatically produces duplex

copies from one or two-sided originals. Duplex

copying is even more productive when used

together with the optional RSPF (reversing single

pass feeder), which efficiently feeds in up to 30

pages of either one or two-sided originals. An

optional 30 sheet SPF (single pass feeder) is also

available for feeding one sided originals.
