CHARACTERISTICS OF A MECHANICAL WATCH
English
(self-winding type, automatic winding type)
● This me chanical watch opera tes using power obtained from a mainspring.
● If the watch is completely stopped, manually turn the crown approximately 20
times to wind up the mainspring to st art the watch.
● While l oss /gain of a q uart z watch i s indica ted by a mon thly or ann ual rate, a ccura cy
of a mechanic al watch is normally indicated by a daily rate ( loss/ gain p er day).
● Normal usage accuracy of a mechanical watch varies according to c onditions of
use (time period that the watch is worn on the wrist, temperature environment,
hand movement, and winding state of the mainspring ).
● When the watc h is af fected by strong magnetism, it temporarily gains or loses
time. If the watch encounters a s trong magne tic field, the p arts of the w atch may
be magnetized. In this case, repairs such as removal of magnetism are required.
Contact the ret ailer from whom the watch was purchased.

HOW TO USE
This watch is an automatic watch equipped with a manual winding mechanism.
• When the watc h is worn on the wrist, the motion of the wear er's arm wind s the
mainspring of the watch.
• If your watch is completely stoppe d, it is recommended tha t you manually wind
the mainspring by turning the crown.
How to manually wind the mainspring by turning the crown
●
1. Slowly turn the crown clock wise (in
the 12 o’clock dire ction) to wind the
mainspring.
Turning the crown counterclockwise (the
6 o’clock direction) does not wind the

2. Wind the mainspring until the power
rese rve indic ator show s a full-woun d state.
The second hand will start moving.
3. Set the time and date before putting the
