Architectural Specifications--

A. The LM Series Latch Monitors shall be produced by an ISO 9001 certified

manufacturer

B. The LM Series Latch Monitor shall have a limited lifetime warranty covering

malfunction and abuse.

C. The MONITOR shall detect and report whether a door is latched or bolted (not

just closed).

D. The MONITOR shall be concealed when installed and shall not require

modification of the jamb or strike plate.

E. The MONITOR shall provide a SPDT Form C output which switches when a door is

latched or unlatched.

F. The MONITOR shall also be capable of monitoring a deadbolt.

LATCH MONITORS—(LMS-1/LML-1/LML-2)

G. The LML-2 shall provide two SPDT Form C outputs which can be used to monitor

a latch and deadbolt simultaneously.
