Introduction
This manual contains a complete listing of ND-Series (Grade 1) cylindrical lock parts and assemblies manufactured by the
Schlage Lock Company. This edition lists components of ND-Series locks manufactured aer November, 2003.
This manual provides exploded views of each lock chassis and trim assembly with an accompanying chart to identify parts for
replacement purposes, along with lock trim ordering procedures, general cylinder information, and all auxiliary components of
the ND-Series cylindrical locks.

All functions ND-Series levers mechanical warranty
is changed from seven (7) to ten (10)
years.
Installation of the inside anti-rotation plate is aided by an insert on the inside
hub allowing for hands-free installation.
Door thickness adjustment is more straightforward with the redesign of the
outside housing and the addition of a gauge insert.
A spacer is added on inside and outside spring cage assemblies to provide a
more firm lever fit, thereby reducing wear on the lever catch.
A 10-year limited mechanical warranty is provided for ND-Series locks
manufactured aer October 1, 2012. Refer to “Limited warranty” on page 95
for complete details.
