Work description

2. Remove the cover on the rear of the reductant tank.
3. Remove the electrical connections.
4. Remove the quick release coupling and remove the connection from the reduct-
ant inlet.
It acts as a syphon from the tank. Use hose D from hose kit 99 628 and hand pump 587 048 to stop the flow, see illustration.
Refer to the description of hose kit 99 628 in the Scania workshop manual 03:14­02 SCR Selective Catalytic Reduction, Troubleshooting.
5. Disconnect the quick release couplings and remove the two upper reductant con-
nections.
6. Depressurise the compressed air circuit for accessory systems and then remove
the compressed air connections. Use hose G from hose kit 99 628.
Unscrew the coupling at the hexagonal mounting so that the entire coupling is re­moved in one piece from the main unit.
7. Undo the screws and remove the main unit.
