A 200W short-arc UHP lamp combined with Sanyo’s new
optical system delivers an impressive 2600 ANSI lumens of
brightness.

INTELLIGENT DIGITAL SHARPNESS CONTROL

This high-performance image processing technology analyzes
the incoming signal and controls the sharpness of picture data
only, while text and other elements that are already sharp are
left unprocessed.

3D AUTOMATIC UNIFORMITY CORRECTION CIRCUIT
SANYO’s new 3D Automatic Uniformity Correction Control
circuit helps to ensure natural looking gradation by increasing
the level of control -- more than 10 times that of conventional
methods -- over color problems caused by a lack of brightness
conformity.

3D DIGITAL PROGRESSIVE CIRCUIT

3D sampling for each pixel along with SANYO’s unique
movement detection algorithm program lead to increased
vertical and diagonal resolution on moving video images.

POWER LENS SHIFT

The power lens shift feature allows for greater placement
flexibility by raising or lowering the image without the need of
moving the projector.

HDTV COMPATIBLE

The SANYO PLC-XP40/L is High Definition Television
Compatible, accepting the 1080i, 1035i, 720p, 575p, 575i, 480p
and 480i HDTV resolution standards.

DIGITAL KEYSTONE CORRECTION

SANYO’s digital keystone correction feature compensates for
angled projector placement by digitally altering the pixels to
produce undistorted images.

WHISPER QUIET FAN

The PLC-XP40/L employs a new Whisper Quiet fan which
produces an amazingly low noise level of only 37 dBA.
