Accessing the internet on the SCHi830
Accessing the internet on the SCH-i830 is a simple as launching the built in Pocket Internet Explorer application and choosing a destination from either the favorites list or calling up the address bar and typing in a URL. In order for this to be as easy as is described here, the customer must of
course subscribe to a qualified Sprint PCS Wireless plan and the account must be provisioned for data.
If there are any issues with connectivity to the internet via the Pocket IE browser and the account is provisioned correctly, one should verify that the “data connections” setting is properly configured for the type of service the customer is attempting to use. The defaults are set to “Automatic” and generally
will work that way without fail. There is only one option displayed by default:
Sprint Data
Sprint Data is the value set for the 1xEV/DO #777 Sprint data network. This setting should not require adjustment in order to
connect to data services.
Editing connections, adding proxy connections, having multiple connections for internet, work, and WAP specifically are all supported by Sprint PCS Wireless Technical Support as well as Samsung
Technical Support.

screen; however, it can also be access by
