This STB has been manufactured to satisfy international safety standards.
Please read the following recommended safety precautions carefully.

MAINS SUPPLY: AC 100-240V~, 50/60Hz

OVERLOADING: Do not overload wall outlets, extension cords or adapters as this

can result in fire or electrical shock.

LIQUIDS: Keep liquids away from the STB.

CLEANING: Before cleaning, disconnect the STB from the wall socket.

Use a cloth lightly dampened with water(no solvents) to clean the
exterior.

VENTILATION: Do not block the STB ventilation holes. Ensure that free airflow is

maintained around the STB. Never store the STB where it is exposed
to direct sunlight or near heating equipment e.g. a radiator.
Never stack other electronic equipment on top of the STB.
Place the STB at least 30mm from the wall. Need at least 10mm from
the top and both side of the STB for ventilation.

ATTACHMENTS: Do not use any attachment that is not recommended by the

manufacturer; it may cause a hazard or damage the equipment.

SERVICING: Do not attempt to service this product yourself.

Any attempt to do so will make the warranty invalid.
Refer all servicing to a qualified service agent.

protection devices for the STB mains connector and modem telephone
line are essential. The individual manufacturer’s instruction for
safeguarding other equipment, such as TV set, Hi-Fi, etc., connected
to the STB must also be followed during lightning storms.

GROUNDING: CATV cable MUST BE EARTHED.

The grounding system must comply with local regulations.

CONNECTING YOUR “STB”

1. LOCATION OF THE RECEIVER

Your

Don’t put in completely enclosed cabinet that will restrict the flow of air,
resulting in overheating.
The location should be safeguarded from direct sunlight, excess moisture,
rough handling or household pets.
Avoid stacking other electronic components on the top of the receiver.
The location should be safely accessible by the cable from your antenna system.

2. CONNECTING THE RECEIVER WITH DISH SYSTEM

After installing your antenna system, connect the coaxial cable to “CABLE IN” terminal

To connect a VCR or DVD player, the STB has been provided with SCART at the
rear marked “AV2 (EXT)”.
Using a SCART connector, the VCR or DVD player can be connected to the receiver.

7. INSERTING SMARTCARDS FOR IRDETO SERVICES

In order to view a scrambled service, you need to have a valid Smartcard.
This STB has the Irdeto embedded to view Irdeto programmes.

BASIC FUNCTIONS

1. Display Screen

Before you can view the television program, you must perform the installation.
Therefore you will see only menu images at first.
After the television channels have been programmed, you will see the following picture (banner)
each time you switch channels:

● Press the INFO key in view mode.

● Select the channel by pressing Numeric (0~9) keys or

5. Setting the Favorite Channel

If you set favorite channel first time, when you press the
FAV.CH key you will see the following message "Favorite
Channel Lists are empty!". In this case, press the OK key
while you are viewing a program. Then press YELLOW
key and select the favorite channel list you want to edit.
(Four lists are supported.) Finally you can add or remove
channels as pressing YELLOW key.
Once you proceed the steps above, you can immediately
register the present channel
to the favorite channel list.

● Press the FAV.CH key while you are viewing a program.

● To add the current channel to the Favorite channels,

press the YELLOW key.
To delete a favorite channel from the Favorite channel

list, press the RED key.

To watch the favorite channel

● Press the FAV.CH key and then select the channel by

using /keys.

● To return to whole channel list, press the FAV.CH key

repeatedly.

6. Changing the Subtitle Language

When the current broadcasting program provides subtitle,
press the SUBTITLE key to see the current subtitle
language list.

● Press the SUBTITLE key to see the subtitle

language List.

● Use the

After installing your antenna system and STB with
appropriate connectors.

● Plug in the AC main power and switch on the receiver.

● Press the MENU key to bring up the main menu.

The following on screen display will appear:

1. EPG-Electronic Program Guide

The electronic program guide gives you a channel list for
the channels.

● Select “GUIDE” in the main menu, then press the

OK key.
RED key : Time interval can be adjusted by pressing

this key. It is rotated by 30 minutes.1st: 30 minutes
2nd: 1 hour 3rd: 1 hour and 30 minutes

GREEN key : Green key is for moving back to the
previous date.

YELLOW key : Yellow key is for moving to the next
coming date.

● Press the PG+/PG- or

● If the information of highlighted program doesn't appear

fully, INFO key will be available any time. You can scroll
the window by pressing PG+/PG- or /keys.

● When the TIMER key on the remote control is pressed

in the EPG screen, if the current channel involves an
event, timer is set immediately and the set timer is
indicated on the EPG screen. A program that has been
set in this way is indicated on "Scheduled Timers" menu
in "Timer" menu.

2. Channel

This menu consists of 4 sub-menus:
Manual Scan, Channel List, Favorite Channel and
Parental Guide.

● Select “Channel” in the main menu by using

2.1 Manual Scan

To tune-in new channels, the STB has been provided with
“Manual Scan” where the channel data can be entered by
the user.
After selecting the “Manual Scan” from the Channel
Menu, the following screen will be displayed:

● Input the frequency of the channel you want to find.

The followings are defined as a default, but optionally you
can choose it.
Signal Status bar shows you if it is valid.

● Input the frequency of the channel you want to find.

● Input the Network Id of the channel you want to find.

● Press the OK key start scanning.

● Select the Modulation of the channel you want to find.

You can select the value of 16, 32, 64, 128, 256.

● Input the symbol rate of channel you want to find.

● After select option, press OK key to start the scan

process.

2.2 Channel List

This function is used to delete the channels.

● Select the list by pressing the TV/RADIO or FAV.CH

key.

● Select the channel by pressing the

The color key corresponds the following service list.

● To sort the channels in order of alphabet or default

(channel number) press the RED key.

● To lock the channel press GREEN key. Whenever you

need to view the channel, you will have to enter the PIN
at the request window. It means that you can access all
parental locked channels with entering PIN Code on
any parental locked channel successfully.

● To edit favorite channel list press the YELLOW key.

Select favorite channel list you want to edit.(Four lists
are supported.)

2.3 Favorite Channel

You can edit the favorite channel list.

● To delete a favorite channel from the favorite channel

list, press the RED key.

● To change the current channel number into new one,

press the GREEN key. After selecting the channel
number by using ¦/ keys, press OK key.

● To sort the channels in order of alphabet or

default(channel number) press the BLUE key.

2.4 Parental Guide

This feature sets viewing restrictions and prevents
unauthorized access to your STB through the
PIN(Personal Identification Number), which is a 4 digit
number. (The factory preset PIN Code:0000)

2.4.1 Program Grade

You can block the specific channel by selecting age.
If the available age of the channel is older than age
which you set, that channel will be blocked.

● You can choose age from 4 to 17.

● "All blocked" means that you cannot watch any

channels regardless of the grade.

● "Unblocked" means that you can watch the all

channels regardless of the grade.

2.4.2 Lock/Unlock Channel

● To lock the channel press GREEN key. Whenever

you need to view the channel, you will have to enter
the PIN at the request window. It means that you can
access all parental locked channels with entering
PIN Code on any parental locked channel
successfully.

● To unlock the channel press GREEN key one

more time. "Lock" and "Unlock" are toggled.

2.4.3 Change PIN code

You can change current PIN code into new one.

3. Timer

Through this menu you can reserve the programs and
configure the settings.

3.1 Scheduled Timers

You can see the channels you reserved through EPG or
manual settings.

● To add the timers press the RED key. You can reserve

the program manually.

● To edit the timers press the GREEN key after

highlighting the cursor on the program you want to edit.
But it is impossible to edit the timers which was set
through EPG.

● To delete the timers press the BLUE key after

highlighting the cursor on the program you want to
delete.

Guard-Band time is a function to ensure, that whole event
will fit in set time boundaries. 1 minute of Guard-Band
Time means that STB will start this timer operation 1
minute before set time and end 1 minute after set time.

NNoottee : If the timers are conflicted with guard-band

time, they will not be reserved.

4. Setup

4.1 Preference

This option enables you to change preset setting such as
Aspect Ratio, TV setting as per your requirement.
You can set the various preference settings you want.

● Place the cursor on this sub menu and press OK key.

4.1.1 TV Aspect Ratio

● Select the TV Aspect Ratio : STANDARD 4:3 ratio or

WIDE SCREEN 16:9 ratio type.

4.1.2 Aspect Ratio

● 16:9 LB: LB means the letter box. Select this when you

want to see a 16:9 ratio image on the 4:3 ratio TV
monitor. It shrinks the 16:9 ratio image with no screen
distortion so the top and bottom of the screen are black
empty.

● Pan Scan: The image is center focused so the other

edges that exceed the screen limits are cropped.

● Full: Select this when you want to see an image with

converted to full screen regardless of the aspect ratio of
sources.

4.1.3 TV Setting

● Select the TV setting : Composite or RGB.

You can select the Video signal type.

4.1.4 Automatic Subtitles

● Select Automatic Subtitles "On" or "Off". If you select

"On" and the channels support subtitles, you can see
the subtitles automatically. You don't need to press

SUBTITLE key.

● Set the display duration of the banner(information) box

If you have to contact your service provider or a service
center they might ask for information available from this
menu.

● If new software is available SW Update button will be

activated. Then press OK key to update new software.

NNoottee : If the receiver is updated via "SW Update", the

version number may be changed.

4.4.2 Reset

This is to restore the factory set values in case the user
has encountered some problems after changing any new
values of channel data and others, which may be in error.
Select Reset menu in System menu and press OK key.
If you want to continue, select “YES” in the warning
window. The receiver will be reset to settings
automatically. Please note that the Factory Default
procedure may take a few seconds.

4.5 Irdeto CA Status

The menu provides the information of the smartcard and
the STB. Press the OK key to enter the sub menu.

4.5.1 CA Status

You can see the CA status (Smart Card EMM/ECM
information).

4.5.2 IRD Status

You can see the IRD status (technical information about
the IRD, CA, Smart Card and software loaded into it).

4.5.3 Loader Status

You can see the information about the IRD, and software
loaded into it.

4.5.4 Mail Box

You can read the message sent to the individual decoders.
We can save the maximum 10 mail messages.

1. PLAATS VAN DE ONTVANGER

De ontvanger moet goed kunnen worden geventileerd.
Plaats om oververhitting te voorkomen het apparaat niet in een volledig afgesloten kast
met beperkte luchtcirculatie. Bescherm de gekozen plaats tegen direct zonlicht,
overmatige vochtigheid, ruwe behandeling en huisdieren.
Plaats nooit andere elektronische apparatuur op de ontvanger.

2. DE ONTVANGER OP HET KABELSYSTEEM AANSLUITEN

Nadat uw kabelsysteem is geïnstalleerd, sluit u de coaxkabel aan op de ingang
“CABLE IN” op de achterkant van de ontvanger.
Draai kabelaansluitingen altijd alleen met hand aan. Gebruik hiervoor geen steek- of
andere sleutels. Gebruik een coaxkabel met een impedantie van 75 ohm.

3. DE ONTVANGER OP EEN TV AANSLUITEN

Gebruik een SCART-kabel om de ontvanger op een tv aan te sluiten.
Als u de tv met een SCART-kabel wilt aansluiten, sluit u de SCART-connector met de
aanduiding AV1 (TV) aan op de SCART-ingang van de tv.

4. DE ANALOGE ONTVANGER AANSLUITEN

Om het gebruik van de analoge ontvanger voor de weergave van analoge kanalen te
vereenvoudigen, is de ontvanger voorzien van lus via de uitgang die gemarkeerd is als
“LOOP”.
Sluit de coaxkabel van deze uitgang aan op de IF-ingang van de analoge ontvanger.
Door de ontvanger standby te houden kunt u via uw analoge ontvanger afstemmen op
analoge kanalen en deze weergeven.

5. EEN VIDEORECORDER OF DVD-SPELER AANSLUITEN

Op de achterkant van de ontvanger is voor de aansluiting van een videorecorder of
dvd-speler een SCART-aansluiting aanwezig. Deze is gemarkeerd als “AV2 (EXT)”.
U kunt de videorecorder of dvd-speler met een SCART-connector op de ontvanger
aansluiten.

6. EEN DIGITAAL AUDIOSYSTEEM AANSLUITEN

Gebruik een glasvezelkabel om de uitgang DIGITALAUDIO OUT op de ontvanger en
de ingang Optical SPDIF op het digitale audiosysteem op elkaar aan te sluiten.

1. STANDBY/ON Hiermee schakelt u de ontvanger in of zet u de ontvanger stand-by.

2. CIJFERTOETSEN (0 - 9)

Druk op de cijfertoetsen om een kanaal te selecteren of nummers op te geven in
de schermmenu's.

3. FAV.CH Gebruik deze toets om tussen de voorkeurslijsten te schakelen.

4. VOL+/VOL- Met deze toetsen stelt u het volumeniveau in.

5. MENU Druk op deze toets om de schermmenu's weer te geven.

6. Pijltjestoetsen Met deze toetsen verplaatst u de selectiebalk waarmee u een optie in een menu

kunt markeren.

7. OK Druk op deze toets om de gegevens die u via het menusysteem voor de
ontvanger opgeeft, te bevestigen en op te slaan.

8. KLEUR (ROOD, GROEN, GEEL, BLAUW)

Gebruik deze toetsen zoals wordt aangegeven in de instructies op het scherm
voor een schermmenu of een gidsvenster.

9. GUIDE U drukt op deze toets om de elektronische programmagids (EPG) op het scherm
weer te geven.

10. PG+/PG- Hiermee kunt u omhoog en omlaag bladeren in het menu en de lijst
TV/Radio.

1. Weergavescherm

Voordat u een tv-programma kunt weergeven, moet u het apparaat configureren. Daarom krijgt u
aanvankelijk alleen menuafbeeldingen te zien. Nadat de tv-kanalen zijn geprogrammeerd, wordt
telkens wanneer u het kanaal wijzigt, de volgende afbeelding (balk) weergegeven:

● Druk in de weergavemodus op de toets INFO.

● Selecteer met behulp van de cijfertoetsen (0~9) het kanaal of

op de toets TV/RADIO voor het tv- of radiokanaal.

● Als de toets INFO nogmaals wordt ingedrukt, kan in een nieuw venster gedetailleerde

5. Voorkeurkanaal instellen

Als u voor het eerst uw voorkeurkanaal gaat instellen,
wordt zodra u op de toets FAV.CH drukt het bericht “Lijsten
met favoriete zenders zijn leeg” weergegeven. Druk in dit
geval op de toets OK terwijl u een programma weergeeft.
Druk vervolgens op de GELE toets en selecteer de lijst
met voorkeurkanaal die u wilt bewerken. (Er is
ondersteuning voor vier lijsten.) U kunt kanalen toevoegen
of verwijderen door op de GELE toets te drukken.
Als u hiermee klaar bent, kunt u het huidige kanaal meteen
registreren in de lijst met voorkeurkanaal.

● Druk op de toets FAV.CH terwijl u een programma

weergeeft.

● Druk op de GELE toets om het huidige kanaal toe te

voegen aan de voorkeurkanaal.
Druk op de RODE toets om een kanaal te verwijderen

uit de lijst met voorkeurkanaal.

met beschikbare talen voor de ondertiteling weer te geven.

kunt u het geluid in stereo, mono, rechts of links
beluisteren.

2. Zender

Dit menu bestaat uit 4 submenu's:
Netwerk Installatie, Zenderlijst, Favoriete zender en
Ouderlijk toezicht.

● Selecteer in het hoofdmenu “Zender” met behulp van

de toetsen /.

● Plaats de cursor op dit submenu en druk op OK.

2.1 Netwerk installatie

Voor het instellen van nieuwe kanalen is de ontvanger
uitgerust met de functie “Netwerk installatie”. Deze functie
kan worden gebruikt om de kanaalgegevens op te geven.
Nadat u in het menu Kanaal de optie “Netwerk installatie”
hebt geselecteerd, wordt het volgende scherm
weergegeven:

● Geef de frequentie op van het gezochte kanaal.

Standaard staan de volgende waarden ingesteld, maar u
kunt zelf een keuze maken. In de Signaalstatusbalk ziet u
of u een geldige waarde hebt gekozen.

● Geef de frequentie op van het gezochte kanaal.

● Geef de netwerk-id van het gezochte kanaal op.

● Druk op de toets OK om te beginnen met zoeken.

● Geef de modulatie op van het gezochte kanaal. U kunt

kiezen uit 16, 32, 64, 128 en 256.

● Geef de symboolfrequentie op van het gezochte kanaal.

● Nadat u de optie hebt geselecteerd, drukt u op OK om

te scannen.

2.2 Zenderlijst

Met deze functie kunt u kanalen verwijderen.

● Selecteer een lijst door op de toets TV/RADIO of

FAV.CH te drukken.

● Selecteer het kanaal met de toetsen

● Druk op OK om het kanaal weer te geven.

De kleurtoets komt overeen met de volgende servicelijst.

● Druk op de RODE toets om de kanalen in alfabetische

volgorde of op de standaardvolgorde (op
kanaalnummer) te sorteren.

● Druk op de GROENE toets om het kanaal te blokkeren.

Wanneer u het kanaal wilt bekijken, wordt er een
venster weergegeven waarin u een pincode moet
opgeven. Zo kunt u dus alle kanalen die met een code
zijn geblokkeerd, bekijken met behulp van de pincode.

● Druk op de GELE toets om de lijst met voorkeurkanalen

te bewerken. Selecteer de lijst met voorkeurkanalen die
u wilt bewerken (er is ondersteuning voor vier lijsten).

Selecteer het kanaalnummer met de toetsen ¦/

● Druk op de BLAUWE toets om de kanalen in

alfabetische volgorde of op de standaardvolgorde
(op kanaalnummer) te sorteren.

2.4 Ouderlijk toezicht

Met deze functie kunt u de toegang tot kanalen
beperken en voorkomen dat onbevoegden toegang
krijgen tot uw ontvanger. De functie werkt op basis van
een viercijferige pincode. (De fabrieksinstelling voor de
pincode is 0000)

2.4.1 Programmabeoordeling

U kunt kanalen blokkeren door een leeftijd te
selecteren.
Als de minimumleeftijd voor een bepaald kanaal
hoger is dan de leeftijd die u selecteert, wordt dat
kanaal geblokkeerd.

● U kunt een leeftijd van 4 tot 17 selecteren.

● “Alles blokkeren” betekent dat alle kanalen worden

geblokkeerd, ongeacht de minimumleeftijd.

● “Gedeblokkeerd” betekent dat alle kanalen, ongeacht

de minimumleeftijd, toegankelijk zijn.

2.4.2 Zender blokkeren/deblokkeren

● Druk op de GROENE toets om het kanaal te

blokkeren. Wanneer u het kanaal wilt bekijken, wordt
er een venster weergegeven waarin u een pincode
moet opgeven. Zo kunt u dus alle kanalen die met
een code zijn geblokkeerd, bekijken met behulp van
de pincode.

● Druk nogmaals op de GROENE toets om het kanaal

te deblokkeren. “Blokkeren” en “Deblokkeren”
worden met dezelfde toets ingeschakeld.

2.4.3 Verander pincode

Hier kunt u uw pincode wijzigen.

3. Timer

Met dit menu kunt u programma's programmeren en de
instellingen configureren.

3.1 Geplande timers

Hier kunt u zien welke kanalen u via EPG of handmatig
hebt geprogrammeerd.

● Druk op de RODE toets om timers toe te voegen. U

kunt handmatig het gewenste programma
programmeren.

● Om de timers te bewerken, markeert u de cursor op het

gewenste programma en drukt u op de GROENE toets.
U kunt echter geen timers bewerken die met EPG zijn
ingesteld.

● Om een timer te verwijderen, markeert u de cursor op

het gewenste programma en drukt u op de BLAUWE
toets.

3.2 Handmatig instellen

Hier kunt u handmatig programma's programmeren.
U kunt kanaal, datum, start-/eindtijd en frequentie instellen
met de toetsen ¦/ of /.

3.3 Extra tijd

Extra tijd is een functie die ervoor zorgt dat een
gebeurtenis volledig binnen de opgegeven tijdsgrenzen
past. Een Extra tijd van 1 minuut betekent dat deze
timerbewerking door de ontvanger 1 minuut voor de
ingestelde tijd wordt gestart en 1 minuut na de ingestelde
tijd wordt gestopt.

4. Setup

4.1 Voorkeur

Met deze functie kunt u voorinstellingen, zoals Breedte/
hoogte TV en TV instelling, naar uw voorkeur wijzigen.
U kunt diverse gewenste voorkeursinstellingen opgeven.

● Plaats de cursor op dit submenu en druk op OK.

4.1.1 Breedte/Hoogte TV

● Voor de Breedte/hoogte TV kunt u de volgende waarden

selecteren: STANDARD 4:3 of PANORAMA 16:9.

4.1.2 Breedte/Hoogte

● 16:9 LB: LB betekent letter box. Selecteer deze optie als u

een 16:9-weergave (breedbeeld) wilt bekijken op een 4:3
tv-monitor. Hiermee verkleint u de 16:9-weergave zonder
verstoring van het beeld. Er verschijnen zwarte balken
aan de boven- en onderkant van het beeld.

● Pan Scan: Het beeld is in het midden geplaatst zodat de

randen die over het beeld heengaan worden bijgesneden.

● Volledig: selecteer deze optie als u een beeld wilt zien dat

geconverteerd wordt naar volledig scherm, ongeacht de
aspectverhouding van de bron.

4.1.3 TV-instelling

● Voor de tv-instelling kunt u de volgende waarden

selecteren: Composite of RGB.

4.1.4 Automatische ondertiteling

● Selecteer Autom.ondertiteling "Aan" of "Uit". Als u “Aan”

selecteert en het kanaal ondersteunt ondertitels, worden
deze automatisch getoond en hoeft u niet op de

schermweergave. Voor landen waar verschillende
talen worden gesproken, zijn meerdere schermtalen

Als u contact moet opnemen met uw serviceprovider of
een helpdesk, wordt er mogelijk naar informatie in dit
menu gevraagd.

SW Update geactiveerd. Druk op OK om de software bij
te werken.

Selecteer het menu Resetten in het menu Systeem en
druk op OK. Selecteer in het waarschuwingsvenster “Ja”
om door te gaan. De fabrieksinstellingen van de ontvanger
worden automatisch hersteld. Deze procedure kan een
paar seconden duren.

ALIMENTATION SECTEUR : CA 100-240 V~, 50/60 Hz
SURCHARGE : Afin d'éviter tout risque d'incendie ou de choc électrique, ne

surchargez pas les prises murales, les rallonges ou les
adaptateurs.

LIQUIDES : Ne placez aucun liquide à proximité du décodeur.
NETTOYAGE : Débranchez le décodeur avant de le nettoyer. Nettoyez

l'extérieur de l'appareil à l'aide d'un chiffon légèrement humide
(sans solvant).

VENTILATION : N'obstruez pas les fentes de ventilation du décodeur. Assurez-

vous que l'air circule librement autour de l'appareil. Ne placez
jamais le décodeur dans des lieux exposés à un ensoleillement
direct ou à proximité d'appareils de chauffage (ex. :
radiateurs). Ne posez jamais d'autres appareils électroniques
sur le décodeur. Laissez un espace d'au moins 30 mm entre le
mur et le décodeur. Laissez un espace d'au moins 10 mm au­dessus et de chaque côté du décodeur pour la ventilation.

FIXATION : Afin d'éviter de vous blesser ou d'endommager l'appareil,

utilisez uniquement les types de fixation recommandés par le
fabricant.

RÉPARATION : Ne tentez jamais de réparer ce produit vous-même. Toute

RACCORDEMENT DE VOTRE DÉCODEUR

1. EMPLACEMENT DU DÉCODEUR

Le décodeur doit être placé dans un endroit bien ventilé. Ne l'installez pas dans un
meuble complètement fermé afin d'éviter toute surchauffe. L'emplacement ne doit pas
être exposé à la lumière directe du soleil, ni à un taux d'humidité élevé. Il ne doit pas
non plus être accessible aux animaux domestiques. Evitez de poser d'autres appareils
électroniques sur le récepteur. L'emplacement doit être aisément accessible afin de
pouvoir débrancher facilement le câble qui vient de l'antenne.

2. RACCORDEMENT DU DÉCODEUR A LA PARABOLE

Après avoir installé la parabole, branchez le câble coaxial venant de votre antenne au
connecteur marqué DISH INPUT situé à l'arrière du décodeur. Tous les connecteurs
doivent être serrés à la main, n'utilisez pas de pince pour serrer les connecteurs.
Utilisez un câble coaxial torsadé d'une impédance de 75 ohms muni d'un connecteur
de type F.

3. RACCORDEMENT DU DÉCODEUR AU TÉLÉVISEUR

Quatre méthodes permettent de connecter le récepteur au téléviseur : à l'aide d'un
câble péritel, d'un câble RF, d'un câble RCA ou d'un câble Composant couleur (Y, Pb,
Pr). Le câble Composant couleur (Y, Pb, Pr) offre la meilleure restitution des couleurs.
Branchez le câble RF entre le connecteur RF OUT situé à l'arrière du décodeur et le
connecteur d'entrée RF du téléviseur. Si vous raccordez votre téléviseur à l'aide d'un
câble péritel, reliez le connecteur péritel marqué TV à la prise péritel correspondante
du téléviseur.

4. RACCORDEMENT DU DÉCODEUR ANALOGIQUE

Afin de faciliter l'utilisation d'un récepteur analogique pour regarder les chaînes
analogiques, le décodeur est équipé d'un connecteur LOOP. Reliez le câble coaxial de
ce connecteur au connecteur d'entrée IF de votre récepteur analogique. Lorsque le
décodeur est en mode veille, vous pouvez alors régler et visualiser les chaînes
analogiques à partir du décodeur analogique.

5. RACCORDEMENT DE VOTRE MAGNÉTOSCOPE

Afin que vous puissiez brancher votre magnétoscope ou votre lecteur DVD, le
décodeur est équipé à l'arrière d'une prise péritel (AV2).
Grâce à cette prise péritel, vous pouvez raccorder votre magnétoscope ou lecteur DVD
au récepteur.

6. RACCORDEMENT DU SYSTÉME AUDIO NUMÉRIQUE

Branchez un câble à fibres optiques entre le connecteur Optical SPDIF du décodeur
et le connecteur Optical du système audio numérique.

7. INSERTION DE LA CARTE A PUCE POUR LES SERVICES IRDETO

Pour pouvoir visionner une chaîne cryptée, vous devez posséder une carte à puce
Irdeto valide. Ce décodeur intègre le système Irdeto pour le visionnement de
programmes Irdeto.

1. Installation initiale

Vous devez configurer votre décodeur lorsque vous le branchez pour la première fois.
Dans un premier temps, seules les images des menus s'afficheront.
Une fois les canaux programmés, l'image suivante (bandeau) s'affichera à chaque fois que vous
changez de chaîne :

● Appuyez sur la touche INFO en mode Affichage.

● Sélectionnez le canal souhaité à l'aide des touches NUMÉRIQUES 0-9 ou

/

ou

CH/CH

vous pouvez basculer entre le mode TV et le mode radio en appuyant sur la touche TV/RADIO.

● Si vous appuyez sur la touche INFO une deuxième fois, des informations détaillées sur le

5. Configuration des canaux favoris

Si vous enregistrez vos canaux favoris pour la première
fois, le message « Listes des canaux favoris vides !"
s'affiche lorsque vous appuyez sur la touche FAV.CH.
Dans ce cas-là, appuyez sur la touche OK pendant que
vous visionnez un programme. Appuyez sur la touche
JAUNE et sélectionnez la liste de canaux favoris que vous
souhaitez modifier (quatre listes prises en charge). Vous
pouvez alors ajouter ou supprimer des canaux à l'aide de
la touche JAUNE.
Une fois ces opérations effectuées, vous pouvez
enregistrer directement la chaîne que vous regardez dans
la liste des canaux favoris.

● Appuyez sur la touche FAV.CH pendant que vous

visionnez un programme.

● Pour ajouter la chaîne que vous regardez aux canaux

favoris, appuyez sur la touche JAUNE.
Pour supprimer une chaîne de la liste des canaux

favoris, appuyez sur la touche ROUGE.

Pour regarder un canal favori :

● Appuyez sur la touche FAV.CH, puis sélectionnez la

chaîne à l'aide des touches /.

● Pour revenir à la liste complète des canaux, appuyez de

façon répétée sur la touche FAV.CH.

6. Modification de la langue de sous-titrage

Si le programme que vous regardez est sous-titré,
appuyez sur la touche SUBTITLE pour afficher la liste des
langues proposées.

● Appuyez sur la touche SUBTITLE pour afficher la liste

des langues de sous-titrage.

● Sélectionnez la langue de sous-titrage de votre choix à

l'aide des touches / .

● Appuyez sur la touche OK pour afficher la langue de

sous-titrage sélectionnée. Pour faire disparaître le texte
à l'écran, appuyez sur la touche SUBTITLE puis
sélectionnez « 01 off ». Appuyez ensuite sur OK.

Selon le type de programme diffusé, vous pouvez choisir
le mode audio souhaité : stéréo, mono, droite ou gauche.

9. Modification de l'intervalle de trame du
télétexte (VBI Télétexte)

● Lorsque le programme diffusé propose l'option

intervalle de trame télétexte, appuyez deux fois sur la
touche TEXT pour afficher la liste des intervalles de
trames télétexte proposés.

● Le téléviseur affichera le télétexte sélectionné si ce

dernier est pris en charge.

● Sélectionnez l'intervalle de trame télétexte de votre

choix à l'aide des touches /.

● Appuyez sur la touche OK et l'intervalle de trame

Menu principal

Après avoir correctement installé et raccordé votre décodeur :

● Branchez l'alimentation secteur et mettez le récepteur sous

tension.

● Appuyez sur la touche MENU pour afficher le menu principal.

L'écran ci-contre s'affiche :

Les noms des sous-menus s'affichent : Guide, Chaînes,
Minuteries et Réglages.

1. GEP - Guide électronique des programmes

Le guide électronique des programmes fournit la liste des
programmes de toutes les chaînes reçues.

● Sélectionnez GUIDE dans le menu principal, puis appuyez

sur la touche OK.
Touche ROUGE : vous permet de définir une durée. Chaque

pression augmente l'heure de 30 minutes. Une pression : 30
minutes. Deux pressions : 1 heure. Trois pressions : 1 heure

30.
Touche VERTE : vous permet de revenir à la date

précédente.
Touche JAUNE : vous permet d'atteindre la date suivante.

● Appuyez sur les touches PG+/PG- ou

le canal souhaité, puis appuyez sur la touche OK.

d'appuyer sur la touche GUIDE lorsque vous
visionnez un programme.

● Si toutes les informations concernant le programme

sélectionné n'apparaissent pas, la touche INFO sera
disponible. Vous pouvez faire défiler la fenêtre à l'aide des
touches PG+/PG- ou /.

● Si un événement est enregistré pour la chaîne diffusée, la

minuterie démarre immédiatement et s'affiche sur l'écran
GEP lorsque vous appuyez sur la touche TIMER de la
télécommande. Un programme qui a été configuré de cette
manière figure dans les Evènements programmés du menu
Minuteries.

2. Chaînes

Ce menu comprend 4 sous-menus :
Balayage Manuel, Liste des canaux, Canaux Favoris et
Contrôle Parental.

● Sélectionnez Chaînes dans le menu principal à l'aide

des touches /.

● Placez le curseur sur ce sous-menu et appuyez sur la

touche OK.

2.1 Balayage Manuel

Le décodeur est équipé d'une fonction Balayage Manuel
qui permet à l'utilisateur de rechercher de nouveaux
canaux en saisissant les données relatives à la chaîne.
Lorsque vous sélectionnez Balayage Manuel dans le
menu Chaînes, l'écran suivant s'affiche :

● Saisissez la fréquence du canal que vous souhaitez

rechercher. Les options suivantes sont définies par
défaut, mais vous avez la possibilité de les modifier. La
barre d'état du signal vous permet de savoir s'il est
valide.

● Saisissez la fréquence du canal que vous souhaitez

rechercher.

● Saisissez l'indicatif de réseau du canal que vous

souhaitez rechercher.

● La touche OK vous permet de démarrer la recherche.

● Sélectionnez la modulation du canal que vous

souhaitez rechercher. Vous avez le choix entre 16, 32,
64, 128 et 256.

● Saisissez le débit de symboles du canal que vous

souhaitez rechercher.

● Après avoir sélectionné une option, appuyez sur la

touche OK pour lancer la recherche.

2.2 Liste des canaux

Cette fonction permet de supprimer des chaînes.

● Sélectionnez une liste à l'aide de la touche TV/RADIO

ou FAV.CH.

● Sélectionnez un canal à l'aide des touches

● Appuyez sur la touche OK pour regarder cette chaîne.

Les touches de couleurs correspondent aux fonctions
suivantes.

● Pour classer les chaînes par ordre alphabétique ou par

défaut (par numéro), appuyez sur la touche ROUGE.

● Pour verrouiller la chaîne, appuyez sur la touche

VERTE. Lorsque vous souhaitez visualiser le
programme, saisissez le code PIN dans la boîte de
dialogue. La saisie du code PIN vous permet d'accéder
à toutes les chaînes verrouillées par contrôle parental.

● Pour modifier la liste des canaux favoris, appuyez sur la

touche JAUNE. Sélectionnez la liste des canaux favoris
que vous souhaitez modifier (quatre listes prises en
charge).

2.3 Canaux Favoris

Vous pouvez modifier la liste des canaux favoris.

● Pour supprimer une chaîne de la liste des canaux

favoris, appuyez sur la touche ROUGE.

● Pour changer le numéro de la chaîne affichée,

appuyez sur la touche VERTE. Sélectionnez ensuite
la chaîne à l'aide des touches ¦/puis appuyez sur

OK

● Pour classer les chaînes par ordre alphabétique ou

par défaut (par numéro), appuyez sur la touche
BLEUE.

2.4 Contrôle Parental

Cette fonction permet de restreindre le visionnage de
certains programmes et d'interdire l'accès non autorisé
au décodeur grâce au code PIN (Personal Identification
Number) composé de 4 chiffres (le code PIN par défaut
est 0000).

2.4.1 Cote du programme

Vous avez la possibilité de bloquer l'accès à
certaines chaînes en fonction de l'âge. Si la chaîne
est destinée à un public plus âgé que l'âge que vous
avez sélectionné, elle sera verrouillée.

● Vous pouvez choisir un âge compris entre 4 et 17 ans.

● Tous bloqués signifie que vous ne pouvez visionner

aucune chaîne, quelle que soit la classification du
programme.

● Débloqués signifie que vous pouvez visionner toutes

les chaînes, quelle que soit la classification du
programme.

2.4.2 Verrouillage/déverrouillage du canal

● Pour verrouiller la chaîne, appuyez sur la touche

VERTE. Lorsque vous souhaitez regarder la chaîne,
saisissez le code PIN dans la boîte de dialogue. La
saisie du code PIN vous permet d'accéder à toutes les
chaînes verrouillées par contrôle parental.

● Pour déverrouiller la chaîne, appuyez une nouvelle

fois sur la touche VERTE. Cette touche vous permet
de basculer entre les options Verrouillage et

Déverrouillage.

2.4.3 Modification du code PIN

Vous avez la possibilité de modifier le code PIN
actuel.

RReemmaarrqquuee : si vous avez oublié votre code PIN, veuillez

appeler la ligne d'assistance SAMSUNG. Le
numéro de téléphone est indiqué sur la
couverture.

3. Minuteries

Ce menu vous permet de programmer les émissions que
vous souhaitez regarder et de configurer les réglages.

3.1 Minuteries programmées

Vous pouvez visionner les évènements que vous avez
programmés par le biais du GEP ou manuellement.

● Pour ajouter des évènements, appuyez sur la touche

ROUGE. Vous pouvez également programmer un
évènement manuellement.

● Pour modifier un évènement, appuyez sur la touche

VERTE après avoir sélectionné l'évènement que vous
souhaitez modifier. Il est toutefois impossible de
modifier les évènements qui ont été configurés par le
biais du GEP.

● Pour supprimer un évènement, appuyez sur la touche

BLEUE après avoir sélectionné l'évènement que vous
souhaitez supprimer.

3.2 Réglage manuel

Vous pouvez également programmer des évènements
manuellement.
Réglez le canal, la date, l'heure de début/de fin et la
fréquence à l'aide des touches ¦/ ou /.

3.3 Durée de la bande de garde

La durée de la bande de garde est une fonction
permettant de s'assurer que vous puissiez suivre le
programme dans son intégralité. Une durée de bande de
garde de 1 minute signifie que le décodeur démarrera
l'opération programmée 1 minute avant l'heure définie et
la terminera 1 minute après l'heure définie.

RReemmaarrqquuee : si les évènements programmés sont

incompatibles avec la durée de la bande de

garde, ils ne seront pas enregistrés.

4. Réglages

4.1 Préférences

Cette option vous permet de modifier les réglages par
défaut du téléviseur (format d'image, choix du signal vidéo,
etc.) en fonction de vos besoins.
Vous pouvez ainsi définir vos paramètres personnalisés.

● Placez le curseur sur ce sous-menu et appuyez sur la

touche OK.

4.1.1 Format d'image

● Sélectionnez le format d'image de votre choix :

standard 4:3 ou écran large 16:9.

4.1.2 Mode d’affichage

● 16:9 LB : LB désigne la boîte aux lettres. Sélectionnez

cette option lorsque vous souhaitez visualiser une
image au format 16:9 sur un téléviseur au format 4:3.
Cela permet de contracter l'image au format 16:9 sans
la déformer afin de ne pas avoir de bandes noires en
haut et en bas de l'écran.

● Pan Scan : L'image est centrée de sorte à rogner les

bords dépassant les limites de l'écran.

● Entier : Sélectionnez cette option lorsque vous

souhaitez visualiser une image en plein écran quel que
soit le format d'image de la source.

4.1.3 Paramétrage TV

● Sélectionnez le type de signal vidéo du téléviseur :

composite ou RVB.

4.1.4 Sous-titres automatiques

● Vous pouvez activer ou désactiver cette fonction en

sélectionnant Oui ou Non. Si vous sélectionnez Oui et
que le programme prend en charge les sous-titres, les
sous-titres s'afficheront automatiquement, sans que
vous deviez appuyer sur la touche SUBTITLE.

4.1.5 Temps de publicité

● Sélectionnez la durée d'affichage du bandeau (boîte

d'information) affiché à l'écran. La durée varie de 0 à 60

4.3 Langue

L'option « Langue » permet à l'utilisateur de sélectionner
la langue de l'affichage des menus, de la bande sonore et
des sous-titres. Trois langues sont disponibles.

4.3.1 Menus d'écran (OSD)

Vous pouvez définir la langue des menus d'écran. Afin de
pouvoir satisfaire les utilisateurs de différentes régions
parlant différentes langues, trois langues sont disponibles
(anglais, néerlandais et français).

● Pour sélectionner la langue souhaitée, appuyez sur les

touches /puis appuyez sur la touche OK.

4.3.2 Audio

Vous pouvez définir la langue de la bande sonore.

● Pour sélectionner la langue souhaitée, appuyez sur les

4.3.3 Sous-titres

4.4 Système

Ce menu comporte 5 sous-menus : Infos Produit,
Réinitialiser, Modifier code PIN, Langue et Mise à jour du
logiciel.

● Placez le curseur sur le sous-menu de votre choix et

appuyez sur la touche OK.

4.4.1 Infos Produit

Si vous devez contacter votre fournisseur de services ou
un centre de dépannage, il est possible que l'on vous
demande des informations présentes dans ce menu.
Placez le curseur sur ce sous-menu et appuyez sur la
touche OK.

● Si un nouveau logiciel est disponible, la touche SW

Update sera activée. Dans ce cas-là, appuyez sur la
touche OK pour mettre à jour le logiciel.

RReemmaarrqquuee : si le récepteur est mis à jour via l'option “SW

Update", le numéro de version sera modifié.

4.4.2 Réinitialiser

Cette fonction permet de restaurer les paramètres définis
par défaut en cas de problèmes rencontrés suite à la
modification des paramètres des canaux ou tout autre
paramètre susceptible de provoquer une erreur.
Sélectionnez le menu Réinitialiser dans le menu Système,
puis appuyez sur OK.
Si vous souhaitez continuer, sélectionnez Oui dans la
boîte de dialogue. Les paramètres par défaut sont alors
automatiquement restaurés. Cette opération peut prendre
quelques secondes.

4.5 Etat CA Irdeto

Ce menu fournit des informations concernant la carte à
puce et le décodeur. Appuyez sur la touche OK pour
accéder aux sous-menus.

4.5.1 Etat CA (interface commune)

Vous pouvez consulter l'état de l'interface commune
(informations sur la carte à puce EMM/ECM).

4.5.2 Etat IRD (récepteur/décodeur intégré)

Vous pouvez consulter l'état de l'IRD (informations
techniques concernant l'IRD, ainsi que l'interface
commune, la carte à puce et le logiciel qui y est chargé).

4.5.3 Etat du chargeur

Vous pouvez consulter les informations concernant l'IRD
et le logiciel qui y est chargé.

4.5.4 Boîte aux lettres

Vous pouvez lire les messages envoyés à chacun des
décodeurs. Nous pouvons enregistrer jusqu'à 10
messages électroniques.
