TM500
POWERED
MIXER
The TM500 is a practical 12-channel stereo powered mixer with built-in signal processing in a compact table top design. The mixer can also be rack-mounted with the supplied rack ears. It’s ideal for small club venues, lounge acts and other sound reinforcement applications. A comprehensive mixer section with extensive routing and metering capability, the TM500’s stereo power amp produces 250 watts a side into 4 ohms and features a fancooled, bipolar design for greater stability and long life. A built in DSP section provides 16 different effects including reverbs, delays, gates, f langing and more with up to 16 variations for a total of 256. 3band EQ for the mono channels and 2-band EQ for the stereo channels is complemented by a dual 7band graphic EQ for more sonic control. A truly useful audio tool that offers users exceptional versatility and performance in one package.

ARCHITECT’S & ENGINEER’S
SPECIFICATION
The mixer amplifier shall incorporate a 250 W per channel stereo amplifier, a dual 7-band graphic equalizer, digital signal processing and a stereo mixer with 8 microphone-line input channels and two stereo line input channels. Microphone inputs shall be on XLRtype connectors and line inputs shall be on balanced 1/4
phone connectors. Each channel shall have a trim
control (microphone channels) or pad switch (stereo line channels), one external and one internal effects sends, 3-band equalization (microphone channels) or 2-band equalization (stereo line channels), pan, a peak-level indicator and a level control.
Two stereo effects returns shall be provided on 1/4
phone connectors, and each shall have an inde-
pendent level control. The mixer shall provide 256 variations of digital signal processing.
Phantom power of +48 volts shall be provided for operation of condenser microphones. The amplifier shall be fan cooled. Amplifier output shall be provided on two 1/4
phone connector s per side. Indicator s
shall be provided for output-signal level, power and +48 volts. The unit shall be a stand alone or rackmount type (rack ears included).
The amplifier shall deliver maximum power equal to or greater than 250 watts per side into 4 ohms, signal-to-noise equal to or greater than 112 dB, THD less than 0.02% and frequency response of ±1 dB from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. The mixer shall have residual noise of 90 dB and THD less than 0.02%. Dimensions shall be
19.35
(491 mm) wide, 13.75(349 mm) deep and
5.5
(139 mm) high. Weight shall be 36 lb. (16.4 kg).
The mixer amplifier shall carry a three-year warranty.
The mixer amplifier shall be a SAMSON TM500.
