5. Do not use this apparatus near water.

6. Clean only with dry cloth.

7. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

8. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including ampliﬁers) that produce heat.

9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not ﬁt into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.

10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at the plugs, convenience receptacles, and at the point where they exit from the apparatus.

11. Only use attachments/accessories speciﬁed by the manufacturer.

12. Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table speciﬁed by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.

13. Unplug the apparatus during lightening storms, or when unused for long periods of time.

14. Refer all servicing to qualiﬁed personnel. Service is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

15. This appliance shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing water and that no object ﬁlled with liquid such as vases shall be placed on the apparatus.

Samson wireless receivers are certiﬁed under FCC Rules part 15 and transmitters are certiﬁed under FCC Rules part 74. Licensing of Samson equipment is the user’s responsibility and licensability depends on the user’s classiﬁcation, application and frequency selected.

This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC rules Class B and RSS-210 of Industry & Science Canada.

Operation is subject to the following two conditions:

Introduction

Congratulations on purchasing the Samson Concert 88x wireless system. The Concert 88x is the ideal solution for the active performer who needs a reliable, great sounding system for wireless applications. Offering frequency-agile UHF operation, the CR88x receiver provides 100 available channels to secure reliable wireless performance. The receiver provides easy setup with 1-touch scan that analyzes and selects the clearest operating channel and infrared set to pair the transmitter with the receiver.

The Concert 88x system ensures clear, interruption-free performance by combining tone-key with auto-mute. This conﬁguration allows only the transmitter’s audio to pass through the receiver, and mutes the output if there is any interference.

The Concert 88x comes in four conﬁgurations. The vocal handheld system includes the CH88 handheld transmitter and dynamic microphone capsule. The CB88 beltpack system can be conﬁgured with either a headset microphone, lavalier microphone, or a 1/4" instrument cable. For travel or permanent installation, the Concert 88x includes a standard 19" rackmount kit.

Should your Concert 88x System ever require servicing, a Return Authorization (RA) number must be obtained before shipping your unit to Samson. Without this number, the unit will not be accepted. Please visit www.samsontech.com/ra for an RA number prior to shipping your unit. Please retain the original packing materials and, if possible, return the unit in its original carton. If your Concert 88x System was purchased outside of the United States, contact your local distributor for warranty details and service information.
