Samson’s Concert 88 UHF Wireless Systems provide high performance wireless solutions
for a variety of performance applications where the freedom of mobility is a must. Available
in handheld, headset, lavaliere and guitar configurations, Concert 88 systems are perfect for
musicians, business professionals, fitness instructors, educators and others looking for stunning
sound and versatility without wires.
The frequency-agile Concert 88 system allows for up to 16 systems to be used simultaneously
across two frequency bands (eight channels per band) within a 300-foot operating range
between its receivers and transmitters. At the core of the system is the CR88 half-rack
receiver. Featuring a true-diversity, dual IF design, the CR88 minimizes signal dropouts during
performance. If a dropout does occur, the CR88’s tone key and auto mute functions eliminate
any background noise until the signal is restored.
Continuing with the CR88, the receiver’s front panel provides a Select button for syncing
receiver and transmitter channels via an infrared signal. The panel also features a channel LED,
volume knob, Power button, two tuned antennas, as well as IR, Audio and Ready indicators, for
optimal functionality and monitoring.
The Concert 88 system is available with four different transmitter configurations: Concert
88 Handheld with CH88 handheld microphone transmitter, Concert 88 Fitness with CB88
beltpack transmitter and HS5 headset microphone, Concert 88 Presentation with CB88
beltpack transmitter LM5 lavalier microphone and Concert 88 Guitar with CB88 beltpack
transmitter and GC32 guitar cable. Each transmitter, which can operate for up to 12 hours
on two AA batteries, is engineered to the finest detail to provide the ultimate in sound
reproduction in its given application.
