The Heston Blumenthal Precision range of thermometers by Salter represent the epitome of precision and accuracy, innovation, style and heritage.
Most oven temperatures vary from top to bottom and side to side. For best results use an oven thermometer next to the food to ensure proper baking/roasting temperatures.
How To Use
1. Stand or hang the thermometer inside the oven in a visible area.
3. Avoid frequently opening the oven door.
4. Always wear a heat resistant glove when touching the thermometer during and after use. Do not use a wet or damp cloth. DO NOT TOUCH WITHBARE HANDS!
Warning
Prolonged use of this thermometer over 225°C (440°F) may cause discolouration of the silicone and could lead to possible hardening or cracking over temperatures of 250°C (486°F).The thermometer will still function normally. We recommend removing the thermometer if the oven is used at these temperatures.
Always remove from oven when using self-cleaning cycle.
Cleaning & Care
Your thermometer is constructed of stainless steel and plastic. Clean with a damp cloth. Grease or other stubborn marks can be removed from metal parts with a scouring pad. DO NOT wash in a dishwasher or immerse in water.
GUARANTEE
Salter will repair or replace this product free of charge, if within two years of the date of purchase it can be shown to have failed through defective workmanship or materials. This undertaking is in addition to a consumer’s statutory rights and does not aect those rights in any way.
