The RT-1080 AM/FM tuner is the per fect RF sour ce
for a custom-installed system, thanks to a bi-direc­tional RS-232 computer-style inter face, dual antenna
inputs, and total remote control capability. Sound
quality comes from the same attention to detail that
distinguishes ever y Rotel: custom-wound transfor m­ers, high grade power supply par ts, refined audio
circuits carefully designed to reveal all the subtleties
FM broadcasts can bring.
The RT-1080 also includes RDS (Radio Data System)
enhancements to make FM broadcasting even more
enjoyable.* RDS lets you see your favorite station’s
call letters, for example, and the type of program
material they’re broadcasting.
Thir ty (30) direct access pr esets allow you to pro­gram your favorite stations for quick recall. A variety
of tuning modes and built-in compensation for US
and European FM broadcast standards make this
tuner truly universal.

The RCD-1072 proves conclusively that cost-con-sci­ous high per for mance in a single disc CD player is
still available – and still outper for ming many so-called
“audiophile” DVD players.
Utilizing circuit configurations originally developed for
Rotel’s reference-class components, this af for dable
unit redefines your sonic expectations. The segment­ed power supply features a large toroidal transfor mer
for minimal power supply “sag” as well as reduced
hum emissions. High quality rectifiers, tight toler-ance
voltage regulation, and low-ESR storage capaci-tors
make sure that all circuits always operate as their
designers intended. The critical analog stage uses
meticulously selected par ts in a “minimalist” cir cuit
environment to ensure the finest sound quality.
The RCD-1072 uses the same over-scan disc mecha­nism once reserved only for premium priced play­ers. The remarkable new Burr-Brown PCM-1732 IC
provides advanced digital filtration, HDCD decoding,
and precise D/A conversion. A coaxial digital output
supplements the high current analog outputs. A high­density FL display, complete programming capability,
remote control, and a 12-volt trigger complete the
picture.

The RA-1062 is the evolution of Rotel’s highly
regarded RA-1060. The design team spent hundreds
of hours evaluating individual component per for­mance from input to output. Chief among these
improvements is the UK designed and manufactured
T-Network power supply capacitor. These premium
grade components follow the tradition of our Slit Foil
capacitors by incorporating tiny per forations in the
capacitor foil to reduce distor tion. Even mor e signifi­cantly, the T-Network capacitor has multiple connec­tions that effectively cr eate several smaller capaci­tors within a single larger body and thus ensure far
lower voltage intermodulation between input and
output.
The result is a striking por trayal of musical subtle­ties suppor ted by a deep, well defined and accurate
bass-line.
The RA-1062 includes a MM phono stage with inputs
for Tuner, Tape 1 and 2, CD, and Aux. A 12 volt trig­ger, IR remote input, speakers A & B selector, head­phone output, balance control, contour switch round
out the features of this superbly capable integrated
amplifier.

Extraordinary sound quality, remarkable flexibility,
and unusual convenience highlight the RA-1070
Integrated Amplifier.
Substantial power (100 watts RMS x 2) and a damp­ing factor of 400 assure precise control of all but
the most demanding loudspeakers. The high capacity
power supply features a Rotel-built oversized toroidal
transformer and British-made BHC slit foil capacitors
for exceptionally fast response to the demanding
peaks found in today’s sources. The RA-1070 allows
connection of up to eight source components includ­ing a high quality MM phono input, five additional
line level inputs, and two independent tape monitor
circuits.
It also features discrete On/Of f codes, 12 volt trig­gers, an RS-232 inter face, two pr eamplifier outputs,
speaker switching and a headphone jack along with
remote control.
